I found your channel a year ago when I quit my 9-5 job. A few months later I got another 9-5 job. I have hated it and I just quit. I am hoping that I can have the faith to continue my journey without the 9-5 this time. Thank you for your amazing attitude and thoughts.

I quit my job in sept of 2022 and haven’t had a job since. I have two kids and I’m stilll making it ! I’ve gone through stressors but baby I’m so present with my kids, have healed traumas and found peace

Curious how are you managing financially after quitting?

@samiabamia I am doing well because I am a saver and not afraid to sacrifice. I was in good financial standing when I quit. I spoke to my banker before I quit and he gave me an estimate of how long I could live on one of my accounts based on past spending. I currently surpassed that time and have been spending less. I use to wash my clothes once a week, I now wash once a month. Only cause I have so much clothes that I can go that long. I got rid of cable and internet. I have internet on my phone and if I really need internet, I can go to the library for free. I saved a lot on transportation because I am not commuting and everything I need is literally within walking distance. I use public transportation sparing. The fact that I was living below my means before I quit helped me to save alot of money when I did. But I do have a budget that I have a hard time sticking to because I am an impulse buyer. I am not use to telling myself no, but it helps not having expensive taste. The majority of my spending goes to buying people birthday and Christmas gifts. Other than that, I am focused more on my healing. I do understand that I am blessed, but I am not the only one in the world who is blessed. A lot of things are possible if only we concentrate on what we want and make calculated moves. And not be afraid to adjust as need be. Be open to listen, receive and surround yourself with the right people and don't tell everyone your business. Cause some people have no vision and only bring about anxiety. I hopes this helps 😊.

I remember watching your quit 9-5 job and I was so amazed because I really wanted to quit my teaching job and I did!!! Now I have so much happiness and joy and healing. Now I’m ready to level up financially and what are the odds that your video pops up again!
