I am in central Canada on the prairies and it was plus 8 centigrade today which I think is about 45 degrees Fahrenheit with snow melting like crazy. My neighbor works for a road building construction company and I asked what was the majority of equipment they had many years ago and he said CAT of course. They tried Deere and he said it was a good loader but when it broke down on the job they didn't come through where as CAT rarely let them down on the job unless it was a major failure. Good luck and hope for much more snow to make the bucks and convince your customer your more than worth the money.

Yeah Mack Man. Snow is melting here too. Only huge piles left at our sites, probably until April. CAT service is the best.

That’s a lot of snow! I wish we would get that here now in Michigan. I want a white Christmas 🎄 ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️🎄

Yes, it was a ton of snow. Probably difficult for you in MI to get that much all at once. Here on the east coast we have the ocean to tap moisture. I'm always dreaming of a white Christmas lol

Freakin INSANE watching those loaders in action!! That lil pickup has to go bye bye. And that Prius (that's what it looked like) in the parking lot all bye itself. Bring on part 2 Bud!! Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!! #broinlawns!!

That silly truck will be there until April at least. The piles are huge still. You need to come up to just plow in a loader for a hour. Gotta have that on your bucket list lol.

Great content. I’m south of you in Delaware County. We service Delaware, Montgomery and Chester county. What a month Feb was. I know you guys got a bit more volume then us but it looks like we had similar frequency. Hopefully we get another one or two this month.
@SnowBoss
@SnowBoss 3 года назад
Thanks so much for watching. Yeah we had the second most snow in February in history. We went out every single day for 25 days straight. Great month 👍

funny our 930 went down that storm too. we had a heat sensor that went bad made the machine think it was over heating when it was not.
@SnowBoss
@SnowBoss 3 года назад
Hopefully you got it fixed quick. It's amazing how 1 simple part can make the whole machine go down.

At least a 400 foot push no cars during the day how are the straight boxes working the wing plow looks fantastic
@SnowBoss
@SnowBoss 3 года назад
Thanks for watching. The straight boxes are doing great, but I slacked on getting footage. With my Achilles tendon rehabilitation for the last 10 weeks, it was difficult getting any footage.

Where you located? I’m in southern ct, we got 17 inches on the February 1st storm. Busy February here! we had 14 events to go out for. I thankfully haven’t seen 30 inches since February 9th 2013 we got 40 inches in about 14hrs. , boy was that a fun one!

I am in East central PA. This is the second 30" storm in 5 years. Insane. I know we were in trouble when we had almost 2 feet and radar was still chugging. Yeah super busy February here too. Second most snow in a month in history.

So, just had a thought. They're building these electric trucks for hauling semi trailers, right? When are they going to release an electrical wheel loader that can push 15 tons of heavy wet snow?
@SnowBoss
@SnowBoss 2 года назад
That's a good question. But I think we are a long ways from that. Rolling down the road is a lot different using a loader. I'm sure someone will do it at some point.

cuz im to lazy to dig back through your past videos, what size metalpless is that? the camera makes it look small even though it's probably a 1022

why are the piles of snow so close to the storefronts and not back in the lots
@SnowBoss
@SnowBoss 3 года назад
Because when it's 1"-2" per hour for 24 hours, unfortunately you have to make poles in spots where you normally wouldn't. There's more then enough parking at this site then is even needed, like way more. We go back after the storm and move them. But good question.
