Ryan goes carnivore for a full month and gets some amazing results!
The carnivore diet includes eating an animal-based diet and all plants were eliminated for a month. He ate a TON of protein and fat and still lost a significant amount of body fat. This is a very difficult and restrictive diet but the results speak for themselves.
The carnivore diet could be considered extreme by some but so could the vegan diet. Having ANY super restrictive diet is challenging but people on both ends of the spectrum have had some pretty incredible results just moving away from the Standard American Diet.

I started (healthy)Keto March 1, 2019 within 5 months I had gone from 192 to 160 with very little exercise. My chronic back pain was eliminated along with my sinus problems and migraine headaches. June 1st 2022 I started carnivore and have been doing it ever since with no issues and better skin results. Looking forward to my 1 year Carniversary, I will be turning 53 next month and feel the best I have ever felt in my life.

@@tippywyatt starting with mostly beef, a few spices, butter & salt. I really want to give up dairy too. But that’s more about not wasting the cheese I currently have in my fridge 😉

lost 15 lbs in 1 month doing this diet. very similar Experiences. glad to hear what i went through was consistent with someone else's. i feel like it was only fat loss, muscle either maintained or growth.

Do you limit your dairy?? I’ve been snacking on blocks of cheese and adding some cheese to my burgers and eggs. On day 3, new to this

Maybe volunteer to do it with him? It also doesn't have to be a permanent thing, just to see if there is a change. For me, the more fiber I eat, the worse it gets. When I tried to be a vegan for a month, my gas got so bad that I was almost kicked out of the house 🏠🤣

@@tippywyatt I can't even get him to do keto. Wen I make keto meals he doesn't eat it. He does like the keto pizza though. He is also type 2 diabetic and had a heart attack almost 2 years ago. Although I'm heavier than him, I'm way healthier than him. He is not really over weight but has health problems. I'm considered obese, but am super healthy.

Great job! Super interesting. Carnivore is so hard to stick to. I did it for autoimmune disease. Definitely try cutting out dairy completely (even butter!) and see if it helps your skin. If I have even a little dairy in something on accident my skin reacts. Good luck!

​@@tippywyatthave you tried Kefir? It's supposed to remove sugar (lactose) during the fermentation and also help be lactose tolerant. It has many more benefits along with building a stronger immune system.

The main tenet of IF is... 'Eat when you are Hungry - No Snacking'. The interesting thing about this process is you learn to listen to both your body and your brain. Normally we don't have the discrimination between the two different physical impulses - they seem to function as one. By the end of a month of fasting you should have a firm understanding that there are two-types of appetites, and one of them is not physical in origin.

There is definitely a psychological aspect to our desire for food that is usually not addressed. Fasting is a great tool to learn to listen to what your body actually needs instead of what your mind and emotions are saying.

Doing my week 3 carnivore more so for well being and see if I essentially can do it. I do it butter and some raw cheese but not huge amount. What i did notice is better skin as I am sensitive, and react to pretty much everything, more relaxed as I have a reactive personality. I do have some fatigue and have to be careful with electrolytes, sometimes I put pinch of salt on my tongue just to help with that. Definitely not easy but getting used to it. @@tippywyatt I did. It wasn’t easy. I am not going to lie. I was craving fermented cabbage and buckwheat, lol. But then again i grew up on it. So I did have my cabbage and buckwheat, felt good for sure. Now I am essentially very very low carb and meat now. I cut down on cheese, no coffee for a month now, I do drink some tea but I am fine with that. And I drink 3 cups of hot water in am with apple cider vinegar and lemon. I think I finally balanced my needs and wants for now. Sorry was a long answer 😊

Also good for a Fatty Liver (if you have a belly, you've got one too). Reason I started 18 days ago. Honey is high in fructose.

Butter is part the diet. Cook with it too cause can't use any other oils which are bad.

I went carnivore in September and my ecema was not going away, it was worst. Then in October I removed dairy, it's almost all gone. For you it might be egg whites or porc. It seems to affect alot of people.

Interesting, if it turns out to be the egg whites, I'll probably just die! 🤣 Glad your eczema is going away and it really makes me reconsider including even a little bit of dairy

On my 2nd week of carnivore, definetly not an easy task. Eating just meat gets hard after a while, also haven't had a solid dunk in 2 weeks.

If you are still drinking coffee, using spices and sauces then you will get the runs. Ditch them and you will be fine, meat, eggs, butter, cream, salt only .try it

Enjoyed your story. I can't do strict carnivore it constipates me. ( I should qualify my comment. I've never followed a strict carnivore diet. I thought anything dairy was carnivore?) So, it's just all MEAT? I'm sensitive to dairy and while on Keto I rarely eat it bc it's constipating) Honey? I use it sometime. I get sick of eating meat some cheese and salads ...but what else us there? My health issue is hypoglycemia so I must stay on low carb. I want to lose 15 lbs..can I do it without exercise? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. 😊

I've heard from other youtubers that meat plus some low carb fruit like berries is the magic combination because it helps with the constipation but I haven't tried it personally. Definitely eliminate all dairy. Swap out the butter for ghee. Let me know how it goes 😌

@@Hannah2265 sheep dairy may be more tolerable but eliminate all the dairy just to be safe for a couple of weeks and then reintroduce it to see if you can tolerate it 😀

from what I've learned, and personal experience, constipation is usually a result of not enough fat in your diet (on carnivore). If your stools are way too loose, then have less fat. Another thing that helps with constipation is magnesium. From Michigan Medicine at the University of Michigan "Magnesium helps to increase the amount of water in the intestines, which can help with bowel movements. It may be used as a laxative due to these properties, or as a supplement for magnesium deficiency. What is the dose amount? The maximum dose for Magnesium is 2 grams or 2000 milligrams."
