Hey everyone, today's intermediate vinyasa flow class has a little bit of everything. This will work on strength, flexibility and balance. This can be practiced at any time of the day and there are no props required. You'll get a really well-rounded vinyasa yoga practice in just 30 minutes.
This is a true intermediate practice with a few challenges thrown in to help you build strength and improve your balance. We'll flow from high lunge to side plank, twisted pigeon, variations of warrior 3 and more. Both my cats make a short appearance in today's class :) Hope you enjoy it!

Haha, this is exactly what I wanted to do this morning but I start my yoga practice about 15 or 20 minutes before you usually post. I did beginner to intermediate instead, from quite a while back. Since I was able to do all the intermediate poses, I'll be doing this one tomorrow. I'm also keeping note of this playlist. I think I'm down for full time intermediate and no more beginner classes. I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!! I practice yoga with you every day. Thank you!

I started doing Yoga with Kassandra every morning after I was going through a terrible breakup. I was waking up early in the morning, finding it impossible to go back to sleep because my brain would just replay the horrible memories. So I had to force myself to start moving- the way Kassandra describes every movement down to each detail is so beautiful, and it really did force my brain to focus on just one motion at a time. Now I'm in a much better place and I still love this channel. Thank you, Kassandra

I've been doing nothing but your 10 minute videos for maybe 3 months now, nearly every day. Many months ago I used to do longer videos like this every other day, but lately I haven't had the gumption. I just hate exercise and was proud of myself for even doing the 10 minutes. But I went to the doctor yesterday and she said that I needed to exercise more for my ovarian health so, dreading it, I clicked on this video. But it really wasn't so bad! You're just really lovely company, Kassandra, so every time I was like, ugh, please just be done, you'd talk in your encouraging voice and I'd be like, this is my girl, I trust her, I like her, I'm spending my morning with her. And I did it! One day down. Thanks for everything

Being an unflexible dude who's a bit overweight this is a really good start for me. Perfect balance of challenge and being able to do it. Some stuff i can't do straight up but kassandra suggests alternative poses. I also take breaks inbetween - that might be "illegal" but I can't do the poses relaxed if my pulse is racing to 165+. Thanks for introducing me to this sweaty yoga :-)

My cats came around almost at the same time, one of them always comes by the end of my practices. She's started to believe that Namaste means "cuddling on the mat"... I just wanted to tell you how greatful I am for such a variety of exercises on your channel. I met you during the first covid lockdown one year ago and the 30-day morning yoga challenge became an every-day challenge ever since. I am a spanish vet doctor living in Normandy, France and yoga is helping me a lot through hard-working days before and after. Please, continue doing such great work! Lots of love from here!

You never cease to amaze me Kassandra! You are so aware of what I need to hear and how I can tweek each pose to get the most out of it. You know when I'm holding my breath or clenching my jaw! I recently started Dragon boating and this is a great workout to focus on the core and other muscles, in particular shoulders and upper back needed for proper paddling technique. I am 65 years young, a 10min a day yoga convert, and happily pain free. Thank you for the thought and care you put into each of your classes. Love the addition of Cleo, Moon and all the kittens 🐾💖

This was my first time delving into an intermediate practice as a beginner. ❤️ I definitely need to focus on my balance some more haha. My cats also decided that the perfect spot to lay in was of course- directly under my downward dogs 🙃 Thank you so much, Kassandra! Loved this flow

It's been a while since I've done intermediate class. At certain points I felt like I might die, but I managed everything except forearm side planks. Feeling pretty good

Discovered her during Covid times as my instructor couldn’t physically come. Now I have been doing Yoga with Kassandra for over 3 years atleast twice a week. She has the most “flexible” videos to choose from depending on where your body is at on the day of workout.

i’ve been doing your practices for a few months now, and last month i started your thirty day challenge and LOVED it. my day does not feel complete without morning yoga now, and i even have some sequences memorized that i do randomly during the day when i feel tense or stressed. this is my second real attempt at an intermediate class and i did surprisingly well! i’ve become so so much more flexible and stronger in ways i didn’t expect. if you struggled with this video, i highly suggest her 30 day yoga challenge, it’s the perfect introduction into yoga. thank you so much kassandra!

Literally stranded in the thread the needle pigeon pose, had to flail around to get out of it, but my internal voice wasn’t being critical it was saying, well maybe next time! Thank you Kassandra for helping to change my internal dialogue 👍🏻 more intermediate power flows please!

Loving these classes. My wife and I have done about a dozen of these (Yoga with Kassandra) and haven't had a bad one yet! Kassandra gives great suggestions and reminders mid-pose that really hit the spot. Her classes are unique and she challenges everyone with a calming voice and down-to-earth-ness that is hard to find on RU-vid. Thank you!

Its been more than 10 years since I last did a full yoga session. Really loved this one. I think it packs in around 45 - 60 mins worth of positions (that I used to do), which is great. Awesome workout and will definitely keep repeating this for many, many more times. Keep up the good work!

First time doing your intermediate classes, absolutely love how you describe the poses in such detail but still allow enough quite time to breathe through the poses. Started with your 30 day morning movement and will continue to work through all of your classes. 🤗🙌🏻 Thank you for posting these and I love when your cats come on screen 😹

Another excellent, well rounded session. Mildly challenging in places and gently flowing in others. Adding core strength with loosening tight muscles, especially in the back and shoulders. This was perfect! I find a lot of other 30 min yogas on youtube a bit to difficult but this was very clear and easy to follow, felt like it really woked out the whole body. Great job!

I'm a 60-chick and quite new to yoga. I started with one of your beginner's videos for about a month, then graduated myself to this intermediate video. It is a challenge for me but I've not looked forward to a workout as much as this since a very long time. I'm loving it.

Lol, it just makes my nose itch, b/c I'm allergic to cats, & I've apparently trained myself so just seeing one makes me think my nose itches 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love animals in yoga videos usually though! As long as I can see the pose okay, no worries!

I love this sequence. The side plank and dolphin pose has awakening me. Sweaty as much as I realised I now know that I can do the pose. Thankyou Kassandra you are my fave yoga teacher. Also Cleo is so cute 🥰

I just want to take a moment and thank you for the session. It’s been a while since I’ve done Vinyasa because I moved and my favorite studio is far. I’ve had some health challenges and needed to revisit yoga. At the end tears streamed from my eyes and as I said “OM” The sun began to shine through the room that I do yoga. What a beautiful journey. Thank you.

This was so good. Also really challenging. I know 7 minutes in, I was like how the hell am I supposed to finish this 😭😂. You made the time pass really quickly. From poses where we can slow our breath after a fast sequence, to your calming voice aiding all the way, I’m reminded why I love practicing with your videos. Super pumped after this session 💪🏾💪🏾

I love this one. I like the 30 minutes yoga in the morning- not too slow or too fast. This one is perfect. It woke my body up, but not too much. There are combination of stretching and balancing- perfect.

Transitioning with eyes closed was not in my “wheel house” today. Funny how such a simple thing can be very challenging. I really enjoyed this!

I didn't know that this was an intermediate class, but I stuck to the end and felt good. I couldn't thread my arms through though since Istill couldn't fold that low. Thanks for this practice!

Wonderful practice. I’ve been doing yoga with you for the past 3 years. Mostly 10 minutes. Today I decided to include more 30 minute sequences. Love to see how my strength and resolution keeps increasing. Thank you.

Hi Kassandra. This is a very belated comment and thank you from me and my wife, Diana. I suppose, like many people, we discovered you and your classes during Covid. We went to studios before that, primarily Bikram studios, but some Vinyasa as well. We needed to find a way to do yoga at home, like so many others. We tried many different online teachers. We fell in love with you. We love your technical abilities and detailed comments regarding form. Most of all, however, we love your vibe and attitude. We are now back in the studios we frequented before, including most specifically the Bikram hot rooms, but we continue to come back to your classes at home, including today, when we did an hour long class of yours and enjoyed everything about it. I came to yoga relatively later in life. My wife finally got me to try it when I was 57 and I am now 62. I was so inflexible as a child that my mother forced me to take ballet classes with all girls when I was in first grade. Now, solely as a result of my application of your teachings in your yin classes, I can do splits on both sides. I I know it’s not a competition, but I am proud that I have greater flexibility now than at any time earlier in my life. I tell anyone who will listen that if I can do it, anybody can do it, and all they need to do is take your classes in the privacy of their own home. On numerous occasions, I have forwarded to people classes of yours in order to encourage them to give yoga a try. My apologies for the length of this comment and message to you, but I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the work that you do. You change peoples lives. You changed mine. The Jewish new year starts today, September 15, 2023, and I am sending to our best wishes for a sweet, happy and healthy new year. So wonderful to find a half hour whole body intermediate flow - this was just perfect and your teaching style is wonderful. More like this, and maybe a 45 min one too?

It’s been far too long since I did yoga. Today I had the magical opportunity to drive up a country road to a beautiful secluded yurt. I downloaded this lesson first (because no cell service), and it was exactly what I needed to get me centered and focused on my practice again. Thanks!

This was my first class with Kassandra. She was an excellent teacher, very knowledgeable with a calming presence. I would, however, categorize this class as beginner vs intermediate. Would love some more advanced classes to break a sweat! Thank you!
