In this 30 Minute Butt and Thighs Burnout With Miniband Workout, I take you through multiple butt and thighs exercises using nothing but your bodyweight and and a miniband (I have the one that I use linked below)! I burned 300 calories*! What can you burn?

*Please take note that calories burned vary for every individual depending on multiple factors (e.g. age, body weight, heart rate, height, effort intensity, etc). Any slight variation in any of these factors can dramatically alter the amount of calories you burn. I calculate all of my calories using an Apple Watch 3 with the High Intensity Interval Training Workout application.
In this workout you are training with me, Sydney Cummings, owner of Royal Change and NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I am a fitness trainer is Charlotte, North Carolina and was a Division 1 athlete at West Virginia University where I was a national qualifying high jumper. I use my knowledge from my NASM certifications, bachelor’s degree, nursing school experience, and my elite athletic background to lead you through workouts designed to make you a stronger, more balanced athlete. I am 60 years old and belonged to a gym for 35 years. Even when I was in my 20s and moving all over the country as a traveling nurse, I still joined a gym. Since last year I tore my right meniscus and then COVID hit. So for the first time I quit my gym and started using youtube videos. I love Sydney's work outs and that I can pick and choose which one is right for that specific day. I love that I can do it when its convenient for me right here in my home, no driving, parking, and working my day around the class at the gym and its free! Although I am not doing the intensity I use to do, I am doing it more frequently and consistently. Its particularly convenient being I am a night shift hospital nurse, working 12 hour shifts but different schedule every week. I love Sydney's cheerful upbeat attitude and motivation talks. Her work outs are perfect for me. Thank you Sydney.

I'm 72 and just bought stronger bands and came upon this workout and i love it. i did a half hour of yoga and finished it with the band. Now I'll be ready for tennis on Sunday.

For anyone who is curious about this work out!!; I have been doing this every other day for about a month now with medium / heavy resistance bands. I have noticed that my legs are MUCH more toned and I also have more hip/ upper thigh muscle and plump. My butt is tighter but most of the burn and gain is in my legs. Either way though, this work out, while being light, is very helpful and effective!

I’ll be doing this workout for two weeks and tracking my results. Lets hope i keep this up! Day 1: I was dead within 5 minutes 😭and my butt was on fire the entire way through Day 2: i was still dying throughout the workout but definitely didn’t hurt as much. Day 3: still dead but getting used to it Day 4: it didn’t hurt nearly as much, i could get through a lot more of the workout without stopping

I am a digital nomad traveling the world. You can only imagine how difficult it is to balance my fitness with this lifestyle. I relocate every 2-3 weeks, so that means that whenever i arrive to a new city i have to spend a few days assessing where i am going to workout, how much, how far it is... its a STRUGGLE. I have usually disliked youtube workouts very much since i like gyms or outdoors spaces (considering i work at home all day). I am glad i found you because YOU MAKE IT REAL in this video. i can hear you struggling like I AM, or your breathing changing like mine is. And you motivated me when i needed it. You are doing great here relating to people and not trying to be a perfect-fitness-lady. THANK YOU!

I'm a cross country athlete who competes in college and I find this workout very beneficial especially in the glutes and the hips. Long distance runners need strong hips, thighs, glutes to help prevent knee injury and be stronger in the legs. Appreciate it.

Yessss! I like how she talks you through it. I'm in a trying to get healed process from an injury. But as I sat and watched, I feel this is something I could definitely try after I'm better. This was a great burnout! I did a heavy band and burned 200 calls! Pls remember that when you are down with your forearm down in the third exercise that you keep your core engaged aka not shoulder to face like she did!

Great work out nice change ups..I'm 65 years old..had back surgery 2 years ago..love the bands..started slow after recovery.using only my body wright...bands give a good resistance..amazing the strength and definition of my muscles..can't say enough to SLOWLY build up to the resistance..getting your body..strength..core and for especially as you age..BALANCE..thank you sooo much..I'm a fan now and appreciate that you share your video..

I’m 26 weeks pregnant and have been doing this since the beginning of my pregnancy about 3 times a week. I can honestly say I haven’t gained any weight in my legs or butt and just last week my husband agreed in a photo my legs looked slim/more toned

loved this! as a gymnast, i train 13 hours a week, and on my off days i love doing this! he only thing that i couldn’t do full out was the glute bridge openers! ouch! love this!

I've had my bands for months and have just started really using them. After just a couple workout over a couple weeks along with my regular cario, Im seeing better tone in my inner/outer thighs and the fatty area at my hips is visually decreasing.

Thank you Sidney, I have been working out with mini bands for about 6 months now, and the result is incredible, my back and legs are stronger and it feels so good, been doing the same exact workout 3-4 times/ week. It takes time to see any results, but hold on and don’t give up. I encourage anyone to try this type of workout if you are looking for building muscles without any weight lifting! Sydney I have been following your workouts, particularly this workout video, for the past few months and it has been challenging but wonderful. I started my fitness journey with trying to clean up my eating habits then I incorporated at home workouts. When I started working out at home, I would just do 3 (10 count) reps of about 3-5 movements. Now look at me following along with you for a full 30 minutes!!! Thank you for shinning your light on this platform so that people like me can get into the rhythm of physical fitness. I love the band workouts and cycle through your playlist but this video is my favorite! I have no memorized these moves and can workout alone without the video. I prefer to work out alongside you though haha I love your encouragement because it makes a world of difference. I have been working on my inner monologue and trying to be more encouraging with myself so having you model those positive thoughts has also been great for my mental health. Again, you are a magnificent star and deserve all the success that you have accomplished and all that is to come!

This was amazing!!! I am thinking about stopping my gym membership because I always get put off by the walk to the gym as it is quite far for me and takes 40 mins to walk in total, but this workout gave me hope that I can work out at home and get the same or better results than the gym! booty and legs on fire thanks for a great workout! I’m dripping haha! shower time 😂

I have a light shoulder injury so i had to stop STF3.0. BUUUUUUUT these low impact band vids have been keeping me alive while i heal. Hopefully gonna restart month 2 in about a week. Thanks S!

I like this workout. I tried it yesterday and I was focused on the wrong thing, which was just trying to keep up. So today I tried it again and followed along but understanding my own pace and that felt so much more effective. I'll be doing this workout more often. Thank you so much for the routine.

I did this with shorts and my sweat made the band slide a lot so I recommend doing this workout in leggings :)

Crushed it!!!💪💪💪 Oh please more band exercises! They give a different kind of burn. Enjoyed this routine. Tried pushing myself to use the black hard band. Had to really push through the burn a bit at the higher reps. Had to use blue for the quad extension. Thank you for another awesome workout!

Thanks for the video. I'm a fifty nine year old male. I used to work out a lot when I was much younger but, I've been rather sedentary for quite a few years. Recently started exercising again and your leg routine is working good for me. For upper body I've been using light weights and pushups. For midsection an ab roller type of thing.

This was my "Thanksgiving Dinner Workout" and let me tell you... I AM DONE!! LOL, I will have ZERO guilt when I dig into my mama's candied yams, mac n cheese, dressing, cornbread and greens do you hear me?!? LIKE NONE. This workout definitely GOES!! Great job :)

I agree Liza! I did strength training my entire life and trained for explosive style workouts so I could jump higher but it's hard to incorporate true strength training without adding more weight and without going to a gym as most of us can't fit a squat rack in our house and different things. I have strength training programs on my website though if that's something you're interested in. Building muscle mass also requires a lot of details to your diet as well

Very true... Im trying to figure out what workouts and meal plans best fit for building muscle. This is all very new to me but it is very exciting at the same time. I'm trying to better understand my body type and which direction I need to go into to improve my fitness. I truly enjoy your workouts, you have so many variety of workouts to choose from. Also I love the fact you are true to your image and you show your viewers that it's all about fitness regardless of stereotypes. If that makes sense... I don't want to knock those other programs but come on... Really! 😉😁 Sometime soon I'm going to invest in one of your 30 day challenges... So I do this every morning and then at night I pick a different video to do and you tell us which part of the body should be burning when it comes to the legs but it’s not always that part it’s either the other leg or leg I’m exercising but if it supposed to be burning my butt sometimes it’s burning the front of my thighs is not normal.

You may want to pay more attention to your form. I would suggest you to exercise in front of a mirror untill you are confident with the form. Hope this helps 🙏
