The joy it gives is one of the many reasons to make your own Organic Pool. After all, it's impossible to be unhappy when you jump. Free DIY Manual :organicpools.co.uk music: Introspective Taal - Aakash Gandhi
What a joy to see so many people enjoying the fruits of their labors and for you, to see them having built such works of beauty using your knowledge! Thanks for all you do David!
What a beautiful shot/composition in the last clip. And, my goodness. The kids breaking the ice on the surface to take a swim in that weather! Haha! Bravo! WOW! xD
David, i really respect your work, here in Italy I tried to teach a few of our clients what an organic pool is. On the other side, how do you deal with the chance of ever encountering deseases like the one caused from Naegleria fowleri, colloquially known as the "brain-eating amoeba"? I know that it's rare occurrence, but it would just take one case to ruin the reputation of organic pools
@@neonice People don't regularly swim in biological ponds, or any ponds. Having regular baths in a biological pool filled with life, WILL increase the chance. I might suggest to my client to go jogging during every thunderstorm, just so he keeps sure he still is more likely to be hit by lighting than get that illness. Jokes aside, as a surveyor, planner and consoultant, i can't just certify on "probability". The client must be aware of the downside of keeping a pool of chlorine free water, and should be instructed on how to keep it in check, be aware of potential deseases and mantain it a safe place to bath. That particoular amoeba is rare, but is almost always lethal, and survivors will probably suffer from permanent brain damage. There are other less lethal deseases, but the less of them are present, the better. So i'm asking @davidpaganbutler if he ever had that issue brought up or asked about, and if he had the chance of dealing with anything about this topic.
Would it be possible to make an organic shower or bath using David’s method. What if you had two 1m x 1m seperate planted areas outside near the bathroom. Then a vertical pipe that crated the rain head using some sort of pump. Then the water on the ground circulates back into the planted area ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CglXghI-320.htmlsi=hMl1veTXsgcTeBbu
I dived in to my pool last winter after breaking the relatively thin Ice like in this clip and cut my face, nothing major but be aware if your planning on doing that! Or you'll feel stupid like I did.
