I personally lived in this golden era as a teen and this is absolutely tickling every fiber of nostalgia in my being. I can't tell you how appreciative I am of this. Every time I blink and in that moment my eyes are closed, I am back in 1994, with my walkman on walking to school on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, NYC. Army jacket, guess jeans, polo sweater, beanie, timberlands. I'm so happy that at least the rest of the world still appreciates what true hip hop music is and is still invested in it. We've lost that here in the US to mumble garbage and drug addict music.

As a super fan of Nas and everything he’s done over 30 years, this was excellent! I remember the first time I heard “It Ain’t Hard to Tell” play on the radio! I knew right away that Nas was going to be my favorite MC because I was a fan of his style and everything Queens, NY. What you guys did here was just amazing and pleasant to hear from a fan of all genres of music and an Old School B-boy Hip Hop head! One Love!

I was in a shitty engagement eight years ago. We were on holiday in the South of France and I knew the marriage would never work. I smoked a small hash joint that I bummed off these guys staying beside us and listened to this record while sitting on the beach looking at the sea. i think this is brilliant. the way you youngsters did it, so close to the original, amazing work. happy to see that classics keep on eternally living for those of us who grew up with it. i love that guy at 1:50 just casually passing by in the open field while your band performs in the middle of nowhere in fron of some big windmills, great scene. the unpredictable human element. i wonder what he was thinking or if he saw you there. as a Nas fan, hearing this in the middle of an open space randomly like that i would ve been blown away and just incredibly happy.
