@@TazTalksYouListen when was it the American idea to just give up? We want to make our country a better place for people to live in. Not everyone can afford the luxury to just pack their shit and leave. What a depressing mindset, to just give up because you haven’t been able to implement the change you want to see yet.
@@mylesj4380 - Because this is not about "giving up." You and Bernie *don't* want to "make [the] country a better place for people to live in." You *want* Utopia, and it's not possible nor responsible. The American experiment has already proven the best motivation tool for prosperity and the improvement of life for all - and that while expanding freedom worldwide. Ironically, it is people like you and Bernie that want to "fundamentally change" America - a radical, irresponsible, short-sighted, unrealistic approach that - and unfortunately, it must be said again for the billionth time - *HAS NEVER WORKED.* As I said, if these ideas for improvement are so critical for your happiness, there would be NO obstacle for you to begin your journey toward your Utopia that already exists elsewhere (might I suggest Venezuela?). It isn't about "affording the luxury." It is quite inexpensive to travel virtually anywhere on the planet, especially today. Now, can we make small, American-centric improvements here and there over time? Of course. But Bernie isn't about that, and I suspect you aren't either. If you believe that Bernie simply wants to make small improvements that not only increase freedom and support the Constitution as currently written but also reduce regulation, reduce the size of government, reduce the waste and debt, reduce the oppression and complexity of government (especially taxation), and in general stop attempting to control every aspect of everyone's lives, then even I would be 100% for his ascension. But this is not what Bernie is about. He wants to hysterically expand government control and regulation of our health care system - something our government knows little-to-nothing about. That alone would balloon government to ignominiously uncalculatable size. The scales of freedom would at that point tip toward whatever weighs down the side without freedom. America is about liberty; Bernie is not. America is about personal responsibility; Bernie believes the government should take care of you. America is about rewarding hard work and creatively intellectual and entrepreneurial investments; Bernie thinks government has all the answers. America is about fiscal responsibility; Bernie believes the government can't spend enough and go far enough into debt. America is about pursuing happiness; Bernie believes that all should be equally miserable. America is about equal opportunity; Bernie is about equal outcome. And bottom line, America is about limited government and individual power; Bernie is about the extreme reach of government into anything and everything and the elimination of the individual. Now that it has been laid out for you as clear as day, when are you going to concede your thoughts and feelings about Bernie are misguided, his approach will always result in abject failure, and just because you *_FEEL_* something would be a good thing doesn't automatically make it good, positive, or desirable. Good intentions - and Bernie has a lot of those - are what pave the way to destruction. Support Bernie, and you wholly support self-destruction. To do so is pathologically irrational and essentially national suicide.

+Isaac O'Rourke the bigger issue is that it's not being black being the primary problem with those communities, it's about being dirt poor... even dirt poor white communities have problems - most of which is circulvented by giving those people a chance to climb out of the poverty hole... quality of life is a huge contributing factor as well as lack of education in causing people to turn to drugs and crime... social support from multiple angles fixes their quality of life and makes them less susceptible to drugs and crime... and fixing laws that disproportionate effect black communities(by criminalizing things that occur there more often/strictly) will be needed on top of taking EVERY ONE out of the shitty quality of life we've sunk into... black communities have alot of problems white ones don't, simply due to how property tax and education funding work... I grew up poor but near a small pocket of wealthy people that could literally carry property tax to the point that we got a high tech class and the funding to student ratio was huge... these black communities have low property values. thus extremely low budget for their schools per student... this means they might not be able to attend school at all, low quality teachers and jammed classrooms causing students to be disruptive and feel excluded and thus they grow up being pissed at the world for telling them they don't matter... it's not because they ARE black, but black ghettos are the pinnacle of the wealth and education problems we have now

@dread nought I'm not in the US, so that really doesn't concern me. What's exactly is wrong about, for instance, an universal healthcare system like any other developed democracy on Earth? ( the fact that the United States is the only one amongst the developed democracies of the planet to not have an universal healthcare system, amongst other things, should be immediately a red flag). Maybe for you it isn't a big deal, maybe you have plenty of money to pay for your healthcare with your current system. Not all people are that fortunate, something must be done to change that, don't you agree on that? That everybody should have the same tools for surviving and making something of themselves in life? That means healthcare and education. What's wrong about doing something to allow people higher education without getting into crippling debt? I really don't understand why everybody seems to be so upset over this. To me is really astounding the amount of criticism leveled at Bernie Sanders. You guys seem to think he's gonna be the next Fidel Castro. But, again, I don't live in the States, so it doesn't really affect me, it's just really strange, from a foreigner perspective, that positions that are common sense and common practice virtually everywhere else in the planet, are seen as dangerous to the american way of life. Anyway, I won't sit here and try to change your way of thinking, I wish you all the best, and I hope your country gets the best deal possible out of the elections, whatever that may be.

I think Bernie does care (I'm not a supporter) but his programs, especially medicare for all, are just not realistic. Ittl bankrupt the country eventually and trust me we will eventually pay for it. Nothing free about it. His taxing the 1% doesn't even cover a third of it over the next ten years. His tax plan brings in 13 trillion in a little less than 10 years, by 2028 medi 4 all will cost more than 40 trillion
Impressive that a man can remain so consistent and dedicated to his views for over 30 years. It says a lot about his integrity. You have to admit, it gives him a charm.
+Highteckhobbies Which is really strange. He's being speaking the truth for 30 years and things never changed. When I hear this speeches I get hopeful, but really, really sad too.
Highteckhobbies True and if don't elected him can we [Europeans] keep him, or at least share it? We need to fix a lot of things around here, too. God, I wish he gets elected.
He is literally the ONLY politician I have ever seen that I believe sincerely and genuinely wants what's best for the people. The only one I would trust.
Wow kid you're starting to sound like A trumptard, this is one man 80 Years old About to climb Mount Everest in the middle of winter, With no climbing gear. And I keep sending him a check? what's up with that? I guess we're both delusional. But hopeful!!!!
