Awesome. glad to see you got it fixed. Ive randomly had RU-vid shut comments off on a couple videos recently too. Glad you got it shorted brother and thanks again
Bought my first stripped lower a few months ago, then saw Davidson defense was running a sale for a 8.5” 300blk upper along with SBA3 and lower parts kit for around $450. I bought various upgraded lower parts, a light, magpul ms3 sling, and trash panda. It’s my favorite gun over ever owned
Super informative vid. Q Honey Badger recently took the lead on the to-buy list for my next firearm, but the Sig Rattler actually might be tied. I'm thinking of using it as a home defense tool primarily, but also a way to trick my woman into using/buying her own rifle. They seem really damn fun on the range, too.
Nice collection. I have a Faxon 7.5 inch 1/5 twist with a LWRCI bcg, SA bleed off gas block, Lantac cam pin, David 11:02 .308 flatwire spring and a TACCOM 3G 3 stage buffer and topped off with a Diligent Defense Enticer S.
I'm in the process of building one. I learned quite a bit from this video, I may reach out to you for some questions at some point! Great video and some very nice ARP's! I subscribed 🔔
Great video 👍 .300blk is about 1-2 bucks more a box than 5.56 so it's not that much more if you want super sonic loads. I run lots of .300 blackout in full size 16 inch rifles. I have mostly LWRC rifles and SOLGW rifles DRD Aptus some Aero guns etc ... Im a big 7.62 fan 7.62x35 and 7.62x39 are my mid range cartridges about the same cost on ammo with similar ballistics.
I belive that .300Blk came about for the military .300Whisper was the "Civilian" round, kinda like .223Rem vs 5.56x45 Nato. Then the military saw it and they wanted it for more low key operations, I guess that AAC Suppressors got involved somehow and then it became .300AAC Blackout and then I think shortened to just .300Blk.
I have radical Firearms 7.62 x 39. I changed the firing pin in it. added a few other things had no problems out of it before that I also on a couple diamondback, but I will tell you this the diamondback upper will not run with an FRT my buddy had one and we tried it. It worked good on Smith and Wes and DANIEL defense but would not function in my DB 15 upper
300 Whisper was changed to 300 Blackout AAC (full name) when the company Advance Armament Corp got the cartridge SAMMI Standard approved. I still have some old 300 Whisper ammo.
Idk why everyone thinks .300 blackout HAS to be suppressed or it’s pointless lol. With supersonic ammo you basically have an AR platform with AK knock down power. .300 subsonic ammo ballistics are so bad, it makes little sense for a civilian outside of home defense.
I mean this is a flip of a coin reply. I am a 23 year special operator in our military. Unless we were set up on a target 400-1000 yards you want be using the blackout. DUH. For anything under 400 we suppressed unless you were a door to door crayon cruncher.
Beautiful Collection- Those are what I would buy if I could. Question? If you had to evacuate quickly on foot never to return and could only take one with you, Which one would you take?
I have an OSS helix. It's nice as far as low psi , but it's not as quiet . I mainly run it on my mark 18 556, and sometimes on my 10 inch 300blk. But my other short barrel 300s with q suppressors are super quiet. I love the OSS bc you can mag dump with it as much as u want. The q titanium ones I don't want to fry them like that . They r too nice.
I have a suppressed 5.56, a suppressed 9mm PCC, and a suppressed 300 blackout...the 300 is definitely the softest shooting of the 3. Only my suppressed 22LR is softer (No kidding?! lol)
Awesome stuff. I see you’ve got a couple Q titanium suppressors. I’m looking for my first 300blk suppressor to go on a honey badger(shooting subs 90% of time) and was wondering if you you could comment on the flash/sparks your suppressors give. The flash I keep reading about from titanium suppressors is really turning me off even though I had my eyes set on a thunder chicken. What’s your insight?
I have never noticed sparks through my Honeybadger suppressor. I haven’t shot the Half Nelson yet so I’m not sure. I think sparks are just the break in period for some titanium cans but it’ll eventually go away
My understanding is the sparks are a thing. But mostly noticeable on the 3d printed cans or certain specific cans that just have them. Both my Hxwrx Ti cans flashed a bit the first mag and then stopped enough that I don't notice anymore.
I am wanting to get a 5"" .300blk with 1:5 twist, and I have it narrowed down to a few. Can you give any input on any of them or any knowledge of the shops selling them? (None come with a brace for the prices shown.) - It will get a dedicated CGS Hyperion on it, so I am wanting it short, since that can is around 9" long. It will be 80% used with subs, but I do want the option to run some supers through it once in a while, hence the Hyperion instead of just a regular 300 sub/9mm can on it. Aero Precision 5" from Chattahoochee Munitions for about $970 ABC 5" for about $820 Tactical Solutions Group 5" for about $1100 I am leaning towards the Aero, but I not familiar with that shop, and would be interested in seeing input from anyone that has dealt with them recently. Thanks!

@@mudgunner It seems that a combination of an FM .300 with a 9" upper, housed inside the Triad chassis, could be quite an exciting setup. However, it would most likely measure less than 21" in overall length. The next step in the process would be to incorporate the PSA bull-pup lower, which would mean one less linkage to worry about. This could potentially reduce the number of parts in the lower section that could go wrong, making it more compact and lighter.
Thank you for watching. With a 300 blackout you almost have to think of it as a sub gun because the round was designed to be shot in barrels less than 10 inches.
