300 HAM'R is awesome, especially for reloaders. I've been reloading for 300 Blackout subs and supers since 2015. It's a great caliber, but the suppressed subs are where it shines. Super are just OK. 300 HAM'R is supersonic only and it pushes bullets are velocities that 300 Blackout could only dream about.
Reason I have decided against the .300 Black Out is the danger of accidentally loading a .300 BO magazine/cartridge into a .223 rifle. Can you chamber a .300 Ham'r round into a .223 barrel and fire it??? Yeah it takes some stupidity to do so, but a believer of the old saying "What can happen, will eventually happy". Otherwise I'm pretty enamored with the cartridge. Just never heard anyone speak on this point.
Good job on completely dodging the barrel specifications. What material is it made from? Is it chf, if not how was it cut? What degree of crown did you decide to go with? Ect... can we talk about what's actually important?
