Very first shots on my first time out with my new 300WSM. Indoor range in Sydney's western suburbs - temperature was hideous - 40 degrees Celsius indoors (104 Farenheit) and it was like a convection oven. Rifle specifics: McMillan Kestros ZR with RAD II system, Borden BRMXD left bolt, right port, left eject action - fully DLC coated with 20moa rail. TriggerTech Diamond trigger, Krieger 10 twist, 4 groove barrel finished at 31" with an Ezell Tuner. March HM 10-60x56 scope with MTR-1 reticle sitting in ARC high rings. Shooting off a modified Seb Mini with Byran Blake upgrades and Rodzilla head. Rear bag is a Lenzi LR model sitting on a custom plate.
Recoil impulse was sharp as you can see, but quite manageable, felt like shooting a 7 SAUM thanks to the RAD system and it tracked very well. Bullets used for zeroing were Berger 215gr hybrids, Hornady brass (don't recommend it) S&B primers behind ADI2213sc powder (H4831sc). Looking forward to getting it outdoors next weekend and test it at distance.

@@faisalhaq4324 It doesn't attach to the fore end, the fore end on F-Open rifles are flat, 76mm wide and simply rest on top of the front rest, so that under recoil, they track backwards nice and smooth provided the front and rear rest are lined up nice and parallel.

Fairly straightforward process - this range where I shot is obviously an indoor range and it has preset target distances - I boresighted the rifle at 25 metres to ensure I was on target, fired one shot to confirm, then moved it out to 50 metres and fine tuned from there. I think I found the centre after shot number 6 or 7. I fired 3 more shots to confirm, then set the windage zero and put the gun away.
