306 Ford Mustang Foxbody, Edelbrock heads and Intake | Dyno Review

We work with all types of power adders including superchargers, nitrous oxide, specializing in turbocharged combinations. We utilize our in-house chassis dyno to get safe and reliable power over several combinations. We work on vehicles powered by multiple different ecus, and engine combinations. From turbo 4g63 setups making 80+ psi of boost, to NA 5.0l mustangs. we don't forget the Chevy guys though, also working on multiple LS engines in multiple swap vehicles using several different types of engine management.

For the people that dont know, stock 302 H.o. Mustangs from 1987 to 1995 with aod/aode automatic transmissions make around 165 to 170 wheel Hp (on a dynojet), n approx. 150 to 155 wheel Hp on a mustang dyno, and the T5 manual transmissions make around 195 to 200 wheel Hp (on a dynojet), n approx. 170 to 175 wheel Hp on a mustang dyno. The car in this video is making approx. 145 Wheel Hp over a stock aod/aode automatic 302 H.o.!

Not true, I have had both auto & manual Fox's. 100% stock the autos made 205 at the wheel, 5 speed cars made 215 at the wheel. This has been consistent with all my fox bodies.

@@urbanedgeautodetailing- My results are true, and your results are true. See this is why dyno bench racing, can, and 99% of the time is different from dyno to dyno. I dynoed my vehicles on the same dyno, to compare gains/results, on certified, corrected dynos. As far as i know, all dynos can be manipulated to give different results. As long as all conditions/corrections/settings/dynos are the same, it should show the difference, good or bad.

I'm almost positive those are the 170cc Edelbrock Performer RPM heads. Based on the power made and If it is in fact a 306.

I have p heads, gt40 intake and stock cam and my car outs down 283 to the wheels

Your car a t5 manual? Cause this dyno was with automatic= 25 to 30 wheel hp less than t5 dyno #s.

This car is probably making around 375-400 H.p. @ the crank!?

Probably more because it’s auto which is like 15-20% power loss

@@jakew2350 Well you must not be good @ math? This car put down 298Hp to the wheels, so if you take my 375 to 400hp to the crank est., and subtract 20% to 25% which is the approx. % for most automatics, you would get around 300 to the wheels.

265 at wheels=340 @ hp in crank......75 hp more aprox.....stocks 265 hp at cranck...195 on wheels......Ford lied for insurance reasons...Chevy too

@@K-2Himalaya-sb7fe- Look up richard holdner RU-vid ch. he has engine dynoed many ford 87-95 stk. 302 H.o. Engines, and they do right around 232 crank Hp, so really close to the 87 to 91 factory hp rating of 225Hp. I have (2) 302 H.o. Mustangs, 1- Automatic, and 1-5 spd. Manual. Stock the automatic did 165Hp to the tire, and the 5-spd. 195Hp to the tire. Then i added some bolt ons to the automatic= K&n filter, +4° timing adv., Shorty headers, off road mac pro-chambered h-pipe(2 & 1/2" dia.), race bypass warlock mufflers, 4:10 gears, and dynoed 189Hp to the tire. Then the 5spd. added, march 3pcs under drive pulley kit, +4° of timing adv., JLT cold air kit, 70mm T.B., with Egr block off, Ford racing E-303 cam, shorty headers, 2 & 1/2" off road H-pipe, 2 chambered Flowmasters( 2 & 1/2"), 3:73 gears, and dynoed 230Hp to the tire. All dyno numbers were on a corrected Dyno-Jet chassis dyno.

My 2v P71 made 240rwhp with longtubes n Marty tune on 87 octane.. Should maybe be up there with 93..

Needs airflow, not better fuel. Heads and cams are the choke point on 2v motors.

@@modularpowered oh yes, for sure, I was running 🏃‍♀️faster times on 93 tho but gas prices were a bit too high so I switched to 87 for a while till I install the heads n cams.. 3.73s are getting done today I hope..

I have GT40P heads in mine and I’m gambling wether getting heads like this would be worth swapping out or not, I estimate it’s getting close to 300hp right now but this seems like it would just reducing weight if anything
