In this video, I show how I was able to fit 33 inch tires on my 3rd gen 2021 Toyota Tacoma with no rubbing! The combo i used in this video is a set of Method MR309 Grid Matte Black 0mm offset Wheels wrapped with 285/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires! Hope this video helps you to be able to fit your wheels on your Tacoma!

You can buy a lift for a few hundred bucks. No need to hack your truck to pieces and ruin the resale value.

You should of been able to adjust the caster via the lower control arm to get the necessary clearance from the pinch welds. I believe stock it is set at 2.4 degrees and you can move it to about 4.5 degrees (but 3.5 you should be good) which results in the wheel moving a 1/2" forward.

First, your way of checking clearance is the best so far on RU-vid. I had a question tho, why cut so high on the plastic? I want to do the same, get as much clearance that does t rely on a lift. Thanks! 🤙🏼
