You can buy the adapter to fit that fit fill plug G37 & 370Z jatco 7 speed transmission. Plus, apart from running through the gears ,you need to run the car when you have filled it, until, "little or no oil runs out of the fill hole". You will notice the fill hole has a short pipe on the inside of the pan as a fluid level gauge hence filling from there. With the trans fluid circulating up to the radiator and back to the transmission, you need the car running otherwise it all runs back into the trans. Then you can fit a copper washer to fill plug and tighten. So you nearly have it. Otherwise you can overfill, that fluid heats up too much, and it can't cool it down at slow speeds on hills etc. You wouldn't notice at normal speeds but with correct fliud level it will change gears more crisply also. Pan bolt is 20nm
Great video... thanks for taking the time to make it. Can you verify the torque specs for the filter bolts and pan bolts? I'm seeing 61 in-lbs for the pan bolts, but can't find anything for the filter bolts. Thanks again!
Hey man appreciate da vid u made it’s funny af . Straight to da buizness n very informative!! Do you remember where and what kind of adapter you got for the pump
Hey, glad you like it! The pump is a generic one you can get at any local auto parts store, which comes with the hose. The adapter was just a random one I found at Advance Auto. I brought the tube for reference and just found one that appeared to fit.
how is the transmission holding up? i wanna do this to my 2013 g37 but im afraid the transmission might act funky afterwards. infiniti told me they dont recommend but i wanted to make sure my transmission is fine before i tune my vehicle. please give me your input on that.
Infiniti BSing you based on 10+ year old service (dis)information, fluid changes for both the engine and transmission make the car run super healthy almost immediately.
You’re welcome! My Instagram is @medieval.media I used this forum for the TQ specs: forums.nicoclub.com/torque-specs-capacities-at-transmission-pan-t400481.html#
