Wow I never even knew you could make 3d objects in photoshop. I have a project for my advanced drawing class to make a spiral book sculpture then project it and draw on heavy paper. Thanks for the video!

Mine are tiny and I can't seem to configure to make it larger and easier to see. I tried screen resolution, and that makes NO difference. Thanks.

Simply choose a toolbar in window section. In case it remind disabled , then you must check up on video card in computer compatibilities.

someone help please i have nvidia gtx970 64-bit operatiing system and windows 8.1 and photoshop cs6 extended but when i try to do 3d it's either grayed out or when i click it it says enable graphics processor which i do i have checked...

Hi there, at 6:55, I'm unable to have the axis turn into yellow as in the video. This option don't work on my side. Same at 8:05, impossible for me to interact with the face only... What's wrong? By the way, I don't have the "Cube" in Mesh preset, only "Cube Wrap".

i have photshop cs6 and i have the 3d options and stuff but when i create the 3d image im not getting the x y z axis or the grid just the image in 3d and cant seem to edit, can you help me set it up please so that i can??

First, thanks for this great tutorial...I have just one problem: the cube I've created from the green layer has all sides green instead of just one and also at min 8:00 I can't select each of the four sides in 3d-panel for cube, it shows just one material...

what if the object is a mesh and I want the shadow to remain as a mesh instead of a solid object?

Hi Micheal, this is the video I was checking out. When you grab the one side of the cube that side move independently of the other sides. I do have that happen, I am like baby baby new to cs6 3d, so I dont know the tool Im even using. I can however create the cube and move it as a whole. I want to be able to move one side isolated from the other sides and mine doesn't do that. I click on the face or the side I get the axis ....... oh wait I might see what Im doing I'll be right back....

how do get the grid on photoshop 3D

If 3D is all grayed out it's probably because you don't have the proper Graphics Card for it to work.
