How to make car follow this simple steps :D 1. Get a picture of a car the side only 2. Select the car with the tool 3. Right click the selected area then select the 3d thing 4. Show it off
Very helpful tutorial Steve, you're a true magician and the best teacher one could wish for. Now I was playing around with PS and made this 3D extrusion from a pixel layer which I cut out with the pen tool. But in the 3D environment I keep seeing this checkered 2D background layer which cuts off my 3D object if I move it outside it. Any thoughts on how to get rid of it? Thanks and greetings from a Dutch PS newbie.
Superb tutorial. Perfect pace and just the right amount of context. Thank you. FYI as I type it’s still possible to download the legacy version of P.S. that uses these tools v22.2.0 via creative cloud.
Can you please show to me on a video what buttons you press or hold when you draw those lines, because I´m really having problems with that!!?? And you make it look like very easy, but it ain´t XDD... I work with pc,,not mac. Thank you
Interesting. I need to brush up on my 3D lessons in Photoshop. I taught myself how to make cups a glass and whine bottle when I found the 3D feature in Illustrator. For a project we had to make a fake company up. So I taught a few peers how to make 3d objects in class. I mastered illustrators 3D object making things now it's time to learn to make a variety of objects in Photoshop in 3D Only thing sux is that it object has to be enclosed to get the 3D figure to show up in Photoshop while in Illustrator the object doesn't have have to be enclosed
When you make the 3D object can it be transferred for use in another program such as for example Hitfilm Ultimate 2 for using in a video sequence? It would still be 3D object that can be seen in different angles? How would it be saved for transfer to another program. I know this can be used for other programs but I'm unfamiliar with how it is done please provide a step by step so I can use this for other programs.
I've wanted to make a 3D model of a building, based on a pair of legs (don't laugh). Using this extrusion method, I should be able to make tapered cylinders. Feet and toes may become an issue.
FML, so I tried to make an extrusion from selection since the paths weren't doing it for me. It says: "Could not complete your request because the path is too complex. I drew a tall skinny triangle.... -_-
Continuing of my other question how do you make an object with separate parts attached to make it a multi-type of object say for example I want to make a Blade Runner type of movie blimp can you please provide a step by step method of how this would be done.
Just out of my curiosity I have two questions to ask to you. What is the level of experience because i am a beginner and what is the configuration of your MAC because it takes half and hour for my mac to render a simple 3d image.
Sorry for my English, i'am French!!!! Just thank you "MERCI" for this tutorial. Is very very nice. MERCI MERCI. and the better vine "vin" in france is a "TARIQUET".
Question I want to transfer a model with all the parts an colors of object from Photoshop into say the Lightwave 3D [or some other software such as Maya for which I don't have] software [it uses 3D models one can create in Photoshop] an vice versa [back an forth] how would I go about doing this? Awaiting your reply.
great video but I have a little problem. Instead of making a 3D object out of my work path, it makes a cube with a hole shaped like my work path. Do you know how to fix it?? thank you
I'm about to scream...... I keep trying this but when I do it I get a block the size of my work area with a hole in it, the shape of my path.... -_- I am sure I'm missing something elementary but I have no idea what. :-/
how can i make shadow lighter without making lighting less intense...Because dimming down light messes up the color/look i want but shadow sometimes is just too hard. I'd like to know for shadow of only one object, but if not possible than all objects would be fine.
You can change the illumination of the object that catches the shadow to a lighter color. Or you may set up a new light with low intensity to light up the area where you want the softer shadow. Set it to cast no shadow.
