I 3D printed my own arrowheads in different materials including one made out of resin to see if it would be possible to do. I know it isn’t really practical as metal arrowheads are way more durable & not that expensive but the idea of being able to 3D print a fully functional arrowhead is just too alluring to pass-up especially since I already had a compound bow with a 70lb draw weight on hand from back when I was in college.
Overall the whole experiment was a surprise as the one material I thought would survive, PVDF, ended up being the only one that didn’t! LOL
I love to be surprised like this as it also make for a much more entertaining video; however, now the question is to decide on what I will use as a target next since obviously the foam target was defeated by my DIY arrow tips 😎🏹
