That's because at 9:23 you can see he's got another print on the back of the T shirt, which of course is the front! This must be the sacrificial lamb / demo T shirt! But yes the design should be higher.

Sublimation typically needs to be on polyester material. Is this not the case since it is vacuum press?

hi Jacobo, yes, it is a special kind of tape,heat resistant tape. And you should use sublimation paper and sublimation ink. The standard machine package does not come with moulds for cases, but with 3pcs of mug clamps. You need to buy molds seperately. This machine can print T-shirt,but not convenient. You need to get a flat hardboard to keep the T-shirt on a flat station when printing
