It's great you support accepted programs, and not just custom designs for people, and you let people think for themselves. I love that you don't throw out cookie cutter advice at 3DMJ!

depends on the type of deadlift, look at power lifters lifts they scrape the shins on the way up and down hence the socks they wear. Its not indicative of bad form but it is specific to a certain type of deadlift

Right, i did that too, most powerlifters at my gym use baby powder to slide the bar over their legs. But i would try to deadlift without the bar touching your shins. I mean to each their own, but i didn't really like to have bloody shins after deadlifts most of the time.

alberto, whats your opinion on All Pro's intermediate(2) program (for bodybuilding and building some strength also) stickied on the bodybuilding forums-workout programs, I've been training for about 2years(bro splits), although i've had 2 injuries that have stopped me from training for quite a while during these 2 years. i feel i still have a lot of room to grow.

How do you know if you need to change your training program because you have advanced and progression has slowed or its based on some nutritional deficit? Are there tell tell signs that give one or the other away.

Berto, What would you reccommend for someone coming out of a cut this weekend? im 15 months in, 195 lbs @ 6ft1. 9% Bf. time to bulk and add lean mass and strength, starting monday.

Alberto, im doing 5x5 madcow atm, after that im gonna do wendler 531, but i dont know how to set up 1 for bodybuilding, the only bodybuilding template has 1 bodypart frequency per week.. please help me with this, im really struggling with it...

Either I do 5/3/1 or LegPushPull like Matt ogus, I been lifting for 1 year. Not very consistent but pretty often. Not really srs until now. Counting macros and cutting finally. Idk what program to go with, please help brah

I don't know if this video is too old for my question to matter. I'm doing a legs Push Pull split. question: should i do legs Push Pull Rest or legs Push Pull Repeat then rest. basically, train 6 days a week or 5-6 on a continuous rotation 3 on 1 off. thanks a lot for any info

The main determining factor of whether you should throw a rest day in between every cycle or every two cycles is highly individual. It will be based off if you're fully recovered from push day to push day (etc.) and how much time you can commit. If you have a recoverable volume for each day along with specific time periods for recovery (deloads), then it is somewhat up to your preference.

Proteinhead92 Really? It's pretty simple.. matt ogus has a video explaining it if you are still interested! and there are loads of free excel downloads that you just plug in your 1rm's and it gives you your workouts!
