The 3M™ FF-400 Respirator Training Video is to help users thoroughly understand the donning, cleaning and maintenance of the Ultimate FX Reusable Respirator.
can you do “Grinding” in these, because the extraction valve flaps i have been told let particles in to your mouth, even when face fit and with and good seal!
Don Ko, I was no able to achieve a seal with just my hand on an open valve post. I also was not able to achieve a seal using a 2091, P100 filter. Only when I placed a 60926 multi-gas/P100 cartridge in place could I perform the negative pressure test.
Deloy Oberlin Medium will fit 80% of people. The large size is usually for more overweight people or with large features, and the small will fit someone really petite, or the average size of a 13 year old.
Does this mask protect others from your germs when you are wearing it, in other words, are your exhaled particles released into the environment? I am chronically ill and high risk and my home health phlebotomist, who also makes rounds at local nursing homes with high COVID infection rates, entered my house wearing a full face respirator with double sided pink filters. I was initially relieved thinking I was protected but later read online that these types of masks offer only one-way protection, for the wearer, not the patient. Is this correct?
ID, what you read is correct. Only the wearer would receive protection in the way of the types of filters they chose. The exhaled air is directly vented to the environment, with no filter in between.
This mask, with the 60028 filters handles just about everything minus mercury and fgrnaldahyde. I'm constantly dealing with silica and mold spores and I have zero issues when those are paired.
You do that thru user fit testing. That is why it is so important. Should you have additional questions, please contact our Customer Support team at 1-800-328-1667. Many thanks and stay safe. --M
Timur, only you receive protection in a respirator. A common face mask gives more protection to others as it helps to trap some of your breath moisture on the cloth.
@@heela188 if you know for sure you are not sick, you get tested each week (like I have) you are distancing, then I see no problem with wearing one. Esspecially since there are plenty of arrogant people around who do not care in the slightest. You know. Those ones who scream about their "freedom". I have alot of those people at my job where I'm surrounded. I isolated for a year and almost went insane on top of losing all my savings for a car. I'm sure not as hell going to get a disease from people who don't want to protect others after staying safe for a year. I know i am not sick. But if EVERYONE wore a proper face mask , I would too!!! I agree everyone should just wear a surgical or n95.
