3rd Gen 4runner Freedom Off-road coilovers and UCA

Looks great! I am installing these on my 1st gen tundra. I do want to make a comment regarding the UCA’s. It’s my understanding these specific UCA have exactly the same articulation and performance of a stock OEM UAC. Due to this information I went with JBA. I have beat the crap out of my SPC’s on my other 1st gen but their prices are ridiculous now so I opted out of a rebuy. As freedom grows and gets more well known I hope clarification on these UAC will be widely understood. Everyone says they work great and are very affordable but I think purchasers need to know if performance is not what they think. My 2 cents

Im putting the freedom off-road 2-4 uca right now on my Nissan titan, and it also came with a locknut. I have it on the ground and still can’t get it to tighten all the way up…it just keeps spinning. I can’t tighten it or take it off…it’s pretty frustrating

Hey brother, I have 285/75/17 with a 3 inch coilover rough country lift/ Freedom Offeoad UCA and three alignment shops cant get the positive camber corrected. Think I should find other shops?

Sweet set up!! 👍🏼 got a few questions for you.. How are these holding up so far with the 3" left setting? Any sagging with the springs? How do they handle off road? Did you have any trouble getting it aligned?

I got the same set up on my 4th gen freedom off road in the front and rough country in the back

Did the upper control arms allow more clearance between the UCA and tire? Mine rub on the UCA

you have to press the ball joint out of the spindle and put the pucks in there right ? Im doing mine now with fox coilovers and old man springs / bilstein shocks in rear.

Sweet rig! Are you running spacers with those rims? I have a 2000 with the same 16x8 LC rims - about to upgrade tires. Also, have you done the tundra brake upgrade? If so, any clearance issues w/ the calipers?

Getting ready to install on my 3 rd gen to I have a question does the adapter piece for the spindle go on the top or bottom? Thanks for any help you can give. Love your runner

Did you say little over 700 for coil over shocks and upper control arms or just coil overs and shocks also can the springs handle a aftermarket bumperThank you

Would these fit my 03 toyota tundra ? It has the 4.7L V8 with a "2 coil spacer right now. And my 35s are rubbing so bad I can't drive it

Did you had to adjust the coilivers different? Or does it come with a left and a right side ? you know because one side is heavier that the other on the 4runners

Hey brother, I had a question. I’m installing these on my 1st gen taco rn and was wondering if you were able to install the cotter pin? The hole is blocked by the castle nut. Sick 4Runner btw.

So how have they held up so far? Looking to get a set.

What did you use to paint your bumper

Do those upper control arms need the ball joint adapter pressed into the spindle?

Are you running wheel spacers?

did you have to press them into the spindle? Also did you have to reuse the lock rings on the uca?

You need to lower your differential with drop kit

hey i recently installed these ucas to suit with my 3” front lift but the people at the alignment shop said they couldn’t get the positive camber. good i ran out of adjustments are they doing something wrong i thought these ucas are meant to make the alignment perfect
