Regarding the 3 Star(only) Spirits The battle for the Top 8 (also known as Battle for the Top 12) will be decided through a Primary and Secondary Tourney.
So many spirits and I was figuring out the format as I went. The main things to know:
[The Primary Tournament](Battle for the Top 8) Will consist of the fighters that made it into round 3 & on in their Heat. For the spirit types that only had 3 heats, the empty slots will be filled by potential new combers representing fallen spirits and/or fighters that are lucky enough to get revived in a dice roll.
The spirits that make it to round 3 & on in this tourney will be considered the 'Official Top 8'.Duplicate spirits that reach the 'Top 8' however, will not be locked in and must settle who will represent that spirit once and for all in the Secondary Tourney.
[The Secondary Tournament](Battle for the Bottom 4)Will consist of fighters that made round 2 but lost in the Primary Tournament (9th-16th), fighters with duplicate spirits in the Top 8 and sometimes potential new combers representing fallen spirits and/or fighters that are lucky enough to get revived in a dice roll.
The goal in the secondary tourney is to make it to the semi-finals as 1st-4th represents 9th-12th in the Official Top 12.Aslo exclusive to the 3 Star Spirits any Duplicates that made the Top 8 will settle the score here to hold their spot in the top. Once the dust is settled the duplicates eliminated will be disqualified from the Top 12 and the Placements will shift up until 12 different spirits represent the Top 12.

Spirit Tourney Qualifiers

The Beginning Tourneys for each spirit type will be Heats
Each Spirit Type ( Red , Blue , Green and Gray ) of 3 and 4 star Spirits Battle it out over a series of heats in their type and class to make the top twelve.
Each heat will have at minimum two of the same spirits ( 1 on each side ) any additional same spirits will go to the weakest spirit rating. Though they are the weaker they can still be champions but they will have to out do any other mirror spirited challengers to own the title. The winning fighter of the spirit won't be the permanent combo but will be consistently fighting New Combers to hold the title to the spirit.
Fighters who place 1st-8th(Round 3 and on) in these Heats will be placed in the Battle for Top 12 Qualifiers Bracket. The 1st place of each heat will not have special rank in future battles just bragging rights of being a 1st place winner in that heat.

This IS NOT a professional series. Just a kick back, 'laugh as things unfold' style type of casual play.
The experiment : wanting to see how different spirits effect the combat. Keeping it smash style with items on , only using the ones that don't make the CPU so dumb.
This video and all of the future battles to come the in game music has been turned off, I recommend putting on some music of preference whether it be albums , live shows ,movie or other video game OSTs.
