Stefan saved his brother's life (and many times Elena's) by sacrificing his own. Delena scenes will always have this as backstory and it is the most horrible way to start a relationship.
@@AzzurroProductions its realistic sad , but damon when was at his worst in season 1, elena told him “you and i have something, an understanding” this to me means more than I love you especially being told when one is at their worst, they met first and she was smitten by him but he compelled her to forget , and Elena kissed him in 2x22, Katherine could see what was happening, so Delena always had something strong that wouldn’t go away and that had nothing to do with Stefan!

Stefan let Elena died while Damon would have sabed her no matter what AND his blood actually did save her. And Stefan and Elena would always had that as backup story lol. @@Jackson-hu9er she was with him as human cause she was in love with him before even turning a vampire 🤔so when she changed back to human she still loved him, being a vampire just made her realize her love for Damon. Damon was never sired to her tho
Yes because damon never treated her like baby yes he tried his hardest to protect her but he let her at least try stefan always projected his short comings on her and others. Because he couldn't control himself

ELENA herself knows DAMON risks his life to save her more than STEPHEN has ever done. She even said it in STEPHEN presence to QUATCIYA “SILAS EX” that “MY BOYFRIEND WHO WOULD NEVER PUT ANYONES LIFE BEFORE HERS INCLUDING HIS OWN”. ELENA is the only person that can calm and control DAMON’S anger..
If you really look at Elena when she says ''We'll survive this. We always survive'' to Damon. Shes actually telling him that no matter what happens to them, if they'll have to face any setback in their relationship, they will always SURVIVE. Damon and Elena have faced so many problems and setbacks in their relationship over the past 3 Seasons, but they have always survived. This scene is very important for me ;)
I think what I love most about this scene is how Elena uses the word WE. "We'll survive this, We always survive." It's like it's the two of them against the world. I also love how close these two have gotten. When Damon asked if she trusted him, she said yes with no hesitation. Their relationship has come a long way from season one. I believe that when these two actually do get together, their bond will be so strong, it will surpass any other relationship ever seen on this show.

I love how Elena can calm Damon in seconds even when he's a raging storm and ready to snap. You can definitely tell that Damon was surprised when Elena told him that she's willing to let Stefan go. Seems like Elena made her feelings pretty clear now we just have to wait for her to admit it out loud.
She completely let go of Stefan. She said 'WE' about herself and Damon as if it's only her and him now! Throughout all the show they've been supporting each other, comforting each other in the hardest situations. And it's always been Damon for her, not Stefan. It's him who's saved her life so many times, it's him who saw her resurrecting, it's him carrying her on his arms from the hell. And despite everything they've survived, their love will survive as well.
I absolutely loved this scene for multiple reasons. For one I loved when Damon said "We brought in Katherine so you weren't in danger!" And when Damon throws the alchohol in the fire, 7 months ago, Elena would shy away from him and let him be. Now Elena is so comfortable with Damon that she grabs his face and just faces him. You can tell he instantly relaxed. Cherry on top was her saying she'd let Stefan go. I don't think Elena really meant it but she did it to calm Damon. ♥ Delena forever!
This is the most I've seen Delena as a couple, as in they look like they've been with each other years here. I think it's almost more special than a kiss/sex scene.
I just love how Delena are the only couple that makes sense in every possible way. Their stories separately... it all leads them to each other. Then: ''Stay away from me'' Now: ''Where were you Damon?'' ♥ Their build-up is utterly unique and breathtaking as they feel it. Stefan lied about who he was to make Elena fall in love with him. Elena fell in love with the real Damon. Elena will always choose the Salvatores but one day her love for Stefan will be platonic and her love for Damon romantic.
I absolutely love how when Damon pulls away from Elena when she starts talking to him how she says 'Hey, listen to me.' a little bit tougher. She's come so far as a character and by god they seriously better get together soon.
Another reason Elena loved Damon was because she saw the difference in how Damon loved Stefan and would do anything to bring him back but how little Stefan showed love for Damon. This is because Stefan “respects peoples choices” and won’t intervene on peoples self destruction. Both Damon and Elena will intervene to help the one they love even if it means them hating them for it. Example: Elena wants to sacrifice herself for her friends even if it means them hating her for it.
Elena's character changed in season 3. She's more independent.. & I love her personality ♥ Damon never had to change for Elena.. she knew his side from the start... Stefan tried to be someone he would never be... SE's foundation isn't strong enough.. this whole relationship was based on a lie... Stefan didn't even had the courage to save Elena.. he let her go [2x20] and than he called Damon... Damon even said "At the end of the day, I'll be the one to keep her alive." [2x18]
I SO wanted them to kiss here! I just love how Elena is able to soothe Damon when he's angry. They are meant for each other, it was evident when Elena said she was willing to let Stefan go. When she said that, I was thinking, "Well, it's about time."
Awww... The look on Damon's face when he said "I'm never getting my brother back" shows his love for his brother. =*( THAT's why he was so PISSED. I jumped and screamed YESS!!!!!!!! when Elena said "then we'll let him go" LOL and WTF with the distractions lol this time,celphone/Katherine's the buzz kill BUT I LOVE the short conversation between Katherine and Damon, so genuine, so real, their friendship. Two ex's that are still good friends. Especially Katherine looking out for the brothers
Who else wants the main endgames to be Damon/Elena and Stefan/Katherine? ;) I know I do. They're just so damn interesting together and they compliment each other perfectly...
Also when Elena lets go of Stefan, which is not hard for her at all, in the next episode, she didnt even give a damn shit about Stefan. But when Elena was letting Damon go in 3x22, she had tears in her eyes. She didnt want to, but she knew she had to. And eventhough she did that, she didnt get Damon out of her life. She wanted him to be in her life. Over here, she just got Stefan out of her life...
Yeah thats what I mean. The problems that came in their relationship like in 2x01, 2x20, 3x04 and 3x14. They always survived those setbacks. Im just saying SE is not at all like that, which makes them unreal and very fake. Stefan never apologizes for his actions, he just gets a 'free-pass' for what he does. Atleast Damon regretts, apologizes and makes up for his mistakes, and as a result, he grows stronger.
A heart core Delena fan but Stefan does apologize for everything wrong. In 1×18 when he pushed Elena against the cupboard you could see the hatred he had for himself for doing that.
Elena's strength in this scene purely just to comfort Damon is breathtaking, true love right here! With scenes like these it really makes me wonder the material of SE's counter-arguments ..
Stefan had always wanted and loved Katherine, she broke his heart a bit but that never changed. when he found elena, the attraction already existed she was just the nice version stefan always wanted katherine to be. damon didn't see elena as a way to have katherine like stefan does. in the end it has to be delena. they love eachother without a doubt
when elena says "we'll let him go" damon looks like he's about to cry and elena is looking at him so lovingly.this makes me love damon even more bc it shows how much he loves his brother and how much elena loves damon.
We don't ship DE bc we love Damon. We love Elena too & we don't bash her! & we love them together bc they've a real built-up.. they weren't together after 5 seconds.. they were friends, she hated him, started to like him again & fell in love with him too.. Damon never lied to Elena. His love is is very rare and beautiful... I'd be so happy if I find a guy who would love me like Damon loves Elena... they're honest with eachother.. & Damon brings out the good in Elena.. & same goes for Elena

This is such an interesting scene between them... First of all, Elena is making "the move".. I love that! But what I love even more is Damon's anger, and the way he rejects her at first, that just shows how mad he is and how much he wants Stefan back. The series have taken such an interesting turn, it's awesome :D But I can't wait so long for the next episode.. Delena forever ♥ I love the way their relationship is growing every episode!
this might be a little detail for some but and this is what made me drawn to love delena so much. damon is undoubtedly very reckless and rough but elena’s mere touch is enough to calm him. it’s literally like a scene taken out from a romance book and it’s fascinating to see it play out in front of our eyes. it makes me want to create a video montage of damon being so whipped with elena’s simple touches hahahha
Is it just me or this "we always survive" line is one of thegreatest DE line ever & is more awesome that elena is the one to deliver it! it shows how much they have experienced together and how close they are now. when she says "WE" she doen't mean "you,me & Stefan"WE but "you & me"WE. Seriously after season 3 i'm sure that DE is the endgame.Because they are just great for eachother.she bring the best in him & he makes her strong.& both are giving to one another a reason to keep fighting for:DE!
about 2-3 months ago Elena wouldn't have tried to calm Damon down when he was that angry it's cute to see that she trusts him not to hurt her and that Damon just calmed down at her touch

I wanted them to kiss so bad, but i can wait, because i also love all the baby steps they are taking. It's making their love story completly epic, how they are discovering themselves and eachother at the same time when they realize that Stefan's gone and may never come back. I know that when they DO kiss, it will be beyond mind blowing, because there is so much build up to it. Just like the finale kiss, but nine times better, because this time he wont be on his deathbed. It'll be genuine.
Love the way Elena held on to Damons face and how he calmed down at Elenas touch. and the disappointment of Damon that they were cut off by Katherins call. And the way Damon kept looking at Elena wondering if they can continue where the left off wondering if they would end up kissing if not for Katherines call. Ahhhh!
Damon and Elena need to seriously get together! Hopefully when the season returns they will. You remember how Damon said in Season 2 - Rose when he told Elena that he loved her for the first time and said that he didn't deserve Elena but Stefan does. On the contrary, it is said that the person who doesn't deserve the person they love is the person that usually deserves them the most!

When this scene was on my Delena heart was pounding and I started to tear up and then I TRULY realised..... Stelena HAS NOTHING on Delena! Delena Is stronger than EVER and is going to happen!!! So all you Stelena fans out there saying she is going to break and get back with stefan....YOU ARE WRONG Delena! Delena! Is going to Happen she won't break. She LOVES Damon. All the SE scenes this season have been nothing compared to the DE scenes. DELENA IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE FOREVER! ♥
THEY WERE ABOUT TO KISS, THEY WERE ABOUT TO KISS! And we're no talking about the "goodbye" kiss or the "against-Elena's-will" kiss. This would have been a sweet, desperate and full of love kiss.
This scene was just perfect! I loved it! lol The acting and everything was perfect as well, Ian did a great job displaying the right emotions, letting his voice crack at the right time when he was upset, everything! just brilliant!!
Damon is not gonna make the first move and kiss her. He has done that and Elena rejected him. He is waiting for her to admit that she loves him too and that she wants to kiss him. When this show 1st started I was totally smitten with stefan, he was so nice and all that and I thought Damon was an asshole [hot one at that] but as the show went on & I saw how much Damon truly loves Elena & how he always puts her feelings before his own just for her to be happy. I totally fell for him season 2. Now I've never wanted a couple to be end game this badly. I hope they will be cause their attraction, chemistry & their love is just UNDENIABLE. Team Damon -333

There was suppossed to be a kiss at this scene.. but it didn't feel right. Then they were shooting an almost kiss.. but cut it together (can't wait to see the extented version!) and that's WHY Damon was pretty sure that she would have kissed him finally back

@KZmuse It is a DE video of course! Some people can't understand love without lame words and vows. The beauty of Delena is just the way they express their feelings..they don't need to talk, they understand each other with just a look. They have the kind of understanding that just people who love intensily or has been married for a long time have (as Ian said in a interview and I agree w him). Delena scenes has been beautiful, delightful and intense since S1. This is true love!

amazing scene thank you for posting this. she couldnt stand to see him sad, hurt. at the first time she doesnt think stefan first.i know she loves damon and she feels the same way a long time. even stefan was there she loves him. we can see that but i dont know maybe guilt maybe she doesnt want the same things happens to katherine she hided. but in this scene all emotions are released ..=))

I watched this with no sound....and i saw Damon: Angry and out right hurt that he lost stefan and elena was still in danger. Elena: In love with Damon...like honestly she was holding him the way she probably only held stefan but she was looking at him like i'm in love with you...i can can let him go and i'm here with you. you can let him go your not alone.

@serinbo SO RIGHT! ;) Damon was intrigued by Elena at first, but ultimately knew she wasn't Katherine & still went to the tomb. With time, DE got to know each other a lot better and started to like each other. Damon genuinely fell for Elena for how/who she was, not because she was a nicer version of a past flame. You can't tell me that Stefan just doesn't feel anything for Katherine anymore, that doesn't happen. That's one of the reasons I like DE, cuz they both love unconditionally.
