My sir ... U have made a very informative video and the way u structured the whole thing is appreciated.... I want 1 Million views on this video as this much people do yoga in india
The TPE in blue and pink combination i bought after seeing this video is slipping from the floor also on the mat. Ofcourse the cushioning is good. It supports the joints.
I was in really dilemma which one to purchase since I had no idea about these Mats. It's pretty much clear now, thanks for your detailed explanation, it's helped me a lot. Thanks.

I was really confused on which yoga mat to purchase, thanks for your video it was very detailed and helpful.. Many thanks to you😇 and I wish you joy in your life..
Some PVC mats come with anti tear net in it. It gives very special benefit of anti stretch effect. Without this net almost all mat get stretched and distance between legs get changed which should not happen.
Very informative 👍🏽there are tpe+eva yoga mats available in the market..could you plz suggest about tpe plus eva combination mats .i.e whether to buy or not to buy!
Packaging: It came in a sturdy rectangular cardboard box that said Yoga on it. ru-vid.comUgkxZkaD2JsPC-fUMkF3vxJ2echoiXZ3T9aM I didn't like how it let possible package thieves know what might be contained inside but great packaging otherwise. The yoga mat came rolled up in a plastic wrap, which was fairly easy to remove.Contents: I got the green yoga mat and it came with an adjustable velcro carrying strap already secured to the mat. There was also a warranty card. There was a bit of a plastic smell coming form the yoga mat but it quickly dissipated after using it once.I've only used the yoga mat twice so far but I am loving it. It's such a game changer to my work outs, especially compared to my bed and floor, haha! I can confirm that it very thick, slip resistant, and comfortable. i didn't look at the dimensions prior to buying the mat, but it is so much longer than I expected! Width is normal size in my opinion. I don't know if it really is tear resistant yet... only time will tell!
After looking at this video I bought boldfit pink and blue mat, but it's of no use trust me, it's very slippery you can hold yoga poses on it. I wasted 1500 rupees
Hello, I need a yoga mat for my advanced yoga workouts. I do 108 surya namaskaram almost everyday. Which one would be most sturdy and won’t flake at all? What would you recommend
Hello! For your usage, we would recommend TPE mats with 4-6mm thickness as they are very stable, less slippery and more durable. But another mat combination would work great for you that is TPE material with Cork material. As it will be provide superior grip in moisture and sweat with better stability as well. It will be even more earth friendly and durable although the cushioning will be slightly lesser than pure TPE mats. So you can choose any one of them as per your preference. I have provided both links below: TPE: amzn.to/3J3K0Hp TPE + Cork: amzn.to/3uazg5y
I am using the Boldfit TPE yoga mat and it costs around Rs.1800 as it has very good designs. You can find the mat at this link - amzn.to/3jZqYIp. Other TPE mat links are in the description.
TPE Mats are quite reliable when it comes to a good grip (sweaty/non-sweaty). So you can consider buying any of the recommended products. EVA Mats can get slightly more slippery in case of sweaty palms/feet, so i would not recommend those in this case.
Yes, they will last quite long, if you are purchasing any of the good brands. Here are some recommendations: www.amazon.in/Boldfit-Women-Alignment-System-Exercise/dp/B07XV5VV7R/ www.amazon.in/Hykes-Alignment-Carrying-Anti-Slip-Thickness/dp/B097P98FJN/
6mm and 8 mm thickness TPE mats are commonly available in the market. 6mm thickness - Best for Normal body to medium body size. 8mm thickness - Best for slight overweight to obese body size. (As it gives some extra cushion for your joints and knees)
Strauss PE eco-friendly yoga mat is Nothing but TPE Mat only. Strauss brand listed wrong. Check the 3rd image of this PE Mat - amzn.to/3qEbbm1. Also, Check these Dual-colour Strauss TPE Mats at the same price - amzn.to/3Dmc7Pf
Yes, it will sustain and will stay quite stable as well, although you will find a better grip in TPE Mats which will also be good for exercises like mountain climbers.
Sorry to hear that. Although as per our tests it was the least slippery amongst all mats. Also with longer usage of any mat, they tend to get more slippery.
I would not recommend the carpet mats for doing yoga and workouts as they don’t have the recommended cushioning required for your body and knees. And you can get knee and joint pains. Also they can get slippery if you are trying to do any movements or complex poses. But if the cushioning is good, you can try out some basic poses and test it before using them.
Thank You for this Comparison Video .It cleared up my doubts and queries about TPE material and it's Yoga mat. I just want to add a few points here 1. I am using EVA Yoga Mat of 10mm thickness. It has a Good Cushion. but it's difficult to roll it and roll out. 2. You didn't talk about the other important factor while buying Yoga Mats ,it's thickness. I will suggest anyone buying Yoga mat ,go for 10mm+ (upto 15mm) thickness. It will give good cushioning while practicing yoga on it.
Try to go with TPE mat material only. where as EVA material will have a strong plastic smell. which makes you comfortable while doing yoga or meditation.
