@@MotherGod-tx3ff Colonizers? Is that what you call your betters? Conquering others is within the entire history of all human nature. Some were so easy to conquer. Others, not so much. There is a pecking order... 😂😂😂
My heart goes out to the shoplifters who will have to drive further to find another store to steal blind. Now they will have to steal more to pay for the extra gas.
You gotta feel bad for the law abiding citizens caught up in this whole thing. It sucks a small percentage of the population can ruin things for the whole area
It's ABC. All of their affiliates are woke, liberal, trash "news" stations. They're up there with MSNBC and WaPo or NPR or CNN. Nothing unusual for that garbage network.
Walmart wouldn’t have so much theft if there wasn’t such a high population of impoverished and broken Americans. People are at fault for their actions but corporations aren’t at fault for the corruption they propagate and benefit so heavily off of? Go do a little research and you won’t come off so jaded and disgusting like a plant.
All they do is whine , you ruined your neighborhood and force the businesses to leave and can't blame the businesses for having enough of the crime , looting , shoplifting. The businesses took a chance on going into your neighborhoods and that's how you pay them back . Then you whine when they've had enough and leave .
These people act like Walmart is owned by the government... Walmart is not a right it is a private company.. They can choose where to have their business and where not to...
0:56 "We pay taxes" . You're right. They literally have no idea how business works. You can rob the subway (skip the turnstiles), rob other customers, and vandalize and the taxpayers will cover it. Walmart isn't subsidized by the government.
It legit is, they give them access to tunnels they use for the trucks when they deliver, there's underground cities under cities like New York, LA and Sacramento
@Draper Scott Did you hear about the madness that happened last night? Hundreds of teens stormed into downtown and started wrecking things and trying to break into places like Millennium Park and the Art Institute. Until Democrats actually go and punish the criminals, stores will continue to leave. In Portland a huge number of business have already left.
@@rockscousteau no. It cant be fixed unless the people want it fixed and understsnd the problem. The people clearly dont understand that the problem is them.
When their stores are the targets for rampant shoplifting, fights and looting, of course they are going to close. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure that out. What I find truly amazing is that Walmart chose to suffer these loses year after year before finally making this decision.
just like they do with guns. tell them that black men are killing black men every day in the streets and remind them Chicago has the strictest gun laws in the nation and they say "the guns are coming in from neighboring states".. you just cant make this stuff up
@@jwatt1800 Hes right tbh, im british and even i can see that trend. Why would they want to keep staying in deprived neighbour hoods who steal alot? Id go suburbs or as you call your inner city. I dont blame em, blame your mayors and police. Should be allowed to arrest anyone who steals, in uk we aint the best country but lol try steal from harrods, security will have you in cuffs face down as you cry lol
There's a city near me that had a Food Lion for years but it had to close down because of so much violence and theft. A local man felt bad for the community and opened a small grocery store for them but he announced that because of the violence and theft he could no longer stay open either, he apologized and felt bad for the older people that lived near by. He said he tried to stay open as long as he could and even pleaded with the community to stop but it continued smh.
We had a Walmart close in my city. The manager made it clear why it was closing. Theft robbery and so on. His exact remark was you did this to yourselves
Walmart did this. They rid America of middle class supporting jobs so they could rake in billions off cheap foreign goods. Now everyone is working Starbucks jobs. What goes around comes around.
@@kommisar. the PR executive have to use brains. They would be painting a target on the stores if they told the truth. I do agree the truth needs to be told so please don’t take my comment as a slight against what you said.
We steal, we throw trash on the ground🗑️, throw bottles out the window while driving on the road, we're rude to customers and not polite, we don't smile , we talk hard and ghetto to people, we're told we're not approachable, we rob people in the parking lots. I mean I can keep going going . I lived in what these people are going through in Dayton, Ohio. There's two walmarts left and they are awful to shop in. I finally took the courage to move its a big fight to go against your own kind when they don't won't to listen. 🤷
Walmart needs to state the real reason they are closing. Thieves.......thieves in this neighborhood, the ones none of there people seem to have a clue about.
@@claudetteholloway1126 Can you not figure it out? It's the melanated ones. I'm so happy we have the 2nd amendment, the 13/62 percent of all violent crimes are responsible,we crackers can get really nasty, I'm looking forward to it.
@@GamerIntelligence Why wasn't it rebuilt and why wasn't there a black wall street in every city and in Africa? Japan and Germany were completely destroyed after WWII and they were able to rebuild.
@@GamerIntelligence I don't remember a law passed for 40 acres. It was just something they discussed. Be glad your ancestors weren't the ones sent back to Liberia. There's lots of federal land out west and in Alaska. Tell the Feds to give it to you. You'll still need to cultivate it in order for it to be worth anything.
"what is so different about this neighborhood?" um..... the percentage of loss from theft, violence, and looting to name a few. and why do you never hear one person in their community speak out on walmarts behalf for the outright destruction of their company?? NOT ONE PERSON EVER!!!!
Yes, completely ignore the reason WHY Walmart is leaving and just blame the company. I definitely would stick around if I kept going somewhere and had people stealing from my pockets.
They worked very hard for these closures - and now they`ve got them. They should be proud of their achievements. But, good luck to them in trying to find any other place to steal from since most all businesses are moving out because of these blood-sucking leeches, These ticks are mad, not because they did wrong in massive theft, but because no one wants to lend their blood to be sucked out by them anymore. These leeches mistook kindness and tolerance for stupidity. . Maybe a book store would be safe from these mindless, stupid looters, but that would be about it.
🤡 comment pandering to you know who 🙄. Walmart closing stores primarily has nothing to do with being black or being in the hood. But it has everything to do with the state of the economy right now. Why are you all acting like Walmart is the only business to close down stores across the entire US lately???!
I feel bad for the honest, hardworking ppl in that area, they will suffer most. Meanwhile the useless thieves who are to blame, will just move onto the next stores continuing to wreak havoc.
@@richardboschsuero4535 It is one of the main reasons I left Illinois for Iowa. I couldn’t stay in a place where citizens are banned from defending themselves, criminality is openly allowed and not prosecuted, and the already poorly trained police are being defunded and becoming worse. It’s a recipe for disaster.
So stealing incessantly from businesses over time leads to them leaving an area because it's not profitable? Who would have ever thought that. It's almost as if when you're a parasite in life people refuse to be around you.
I'm glad to see this, and happy for Walmart. No business would, or SHOULD, do business in an area where thieves aren't even arrested for stealing from them. The voters of Chicago, and especially two weeks ago, have "stated" this is what they want. Have fun with your utopia of lawlessness. I hope more and more police retire and the low number of people interested in going into law enforcement continues because, again, this is what they want. Defund the police? You'll be left with a third of the force before you know it and you won't even have to worry about defunding them. You simply won't have them and the federal government will have to move in. You get what you vote for.
Until you closet racists are eliminated or, shown to world such as yourself. The world will and always be 🗑️. While you're basically saying citizens deserves to victims. I guess you have an police detail with you at all times.
I would say, after this weekend, a lot of downtown Chicago stores will be closing soon also. "What's so different about this area? " The first step in solving a problem is identifying what the problem IS. Forget your fantasy of "looking like everywhere else" when you cannot admit and address WHY it doesn't "look like everywhere else"
I think I read that these four Walmarts haven’t been profitable for literally years- they tried for years before they closed. Not sure how much more you can expect out of a dying business.
@@commoncentsamerican SAME as it did down SOUTH ...ya know when BLACKS had affluent businesses a very long time ago and for some reason WHITES BURNED DOWN THE COMMUNITIES... It would be different this time around...blacks,whites and others would just tear it down because of the NORMALTY OF THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR THAT OUR SOCIETY FINDS ACCEPTABLE!!💯🏴☠️
Parents need to do a better job educating and raising their children on how to be good productive citizens. Black on black crime and shoplifting is literally destroying the black community. It is what it is.
"There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps... then turn around and see somebody white and feel relieved." Rev Jesse Jackson 1993
The only way these stores can stay open at this point is if they have facial recognition or bring the products to your car after payment but we all know people would loose their minds. The store really has no choice. Having a Walmart in your neighborhood isn’t a right it’s a privilege and now they lost it. Play a stupid game win a stupid prize.
@RU-vidCensorsTheTruth Then they'll just wait by the lockers and rob you there or follow you home. This country will be like South Africa or Brazil soon.
Heard they were moving a bunch of the remaining merchandise out to the parking lot to make a less stressful day for the shoppers and shoplifters. Yeah, find a new store to leave your community…. whine, cry, blame, blah blah- any remaining stores WILL CLOSE if you don’t take responsibility for your community.
Walmart was on the fence already about leaving. When Chicago decided to elect another progressive as the new Mayor who made a speech about big businesses not paying enough taxes to support the city, that pushed Walmart to finally pull the plug.
Seen homeless people go in , trade shoes, shirts, pants, steal underwear and socks, eat going through the store, throw the empty package anywhere they want. Don't blame them. Back to school sales, saw mothers tear packages of socks and underwear open take half . People use a cheap price tag to check out more expensive things, crazy. Seen people try on new coats , leave their old one walk out. You can see everything at Walmart, employees don't do anything about it, find packs of batteries half gone .🤯🤯🤯 they robbed them
@@sn5301679 been waiting for them to close ours , prices are going up on everything. Aldi just built a store next to us a big one, going in all over Michigan, we still have Meijer. Won't miss our dirty nasty Walmart if it closes. The way they treat the workers there is horrible. They can't keep help.
I'm very curious as to what stores will close next and what stores will remain. The stealing does not stop it just moves to the next location available and at what point will there be no locations left?
Last week, I watched a young black man take a $500 bicycle off the rack at a Target store, then ride it through the store and out the front door. Brazen, in your face theft.
Yes there are. But the good ones need to speak out. I know the demonkkkrat left will call you names like 'uncle tom' and the 'blk face of white privilege'. They did that to Larry Elder.🙄
sadly, this is probably the solution. When the good civilians get tired of being inconvenienced by criminals, they will want change and want criminals to be held accountable to the highest degree of the law. Or the city will just die out and the problem takes care of itself that way
It does not take Columbo to figure this out. These retail outlets are leaving certain communities because of theft and other criminal activity. Private companies (such as Walmart) have EVERY RIGHT not to do business in these communities. Instead of blaming Walmart and ONCE AGAIN crying victim, perhaps the Black Community can see this as an opportunity to (1) stop committing crimes, and (2) join together with others in the community and open your own Black-owned grocery store. This can be an opportunity for responsible, law-abiding members of that community to be small business owners. Will that happen? Maybe. Maybe not. The choice is yours.
Highly doubtful - they will just come to the working class law abiding communities - black , white , yellow and brown , and rob us blind and get our Wal Marts closed down .. It’s time for elected officials to punish the bad and protect the good !!!
food desert happens for a reason. they should feel blessed Walmart even opened a store there to begin with. These people take things for granted and have zero sense of how business works.
They would call him an 'uncle Tom' and the 'blk face of white supremacy' like they already do. They do this anytime a blk conservative calls out the actual problems and offers the obvious and effective solutions.
Have a rally telling your community to stop robbing the stores in your community. We've all seen the videos and news reports, so you can't deny it. Take responsibility, accountability, and action. You can change things! But blaming others or acting as though you don't know the truth is only hurting your community more. God bless 🙌
@@draperscott7698 well, I've been retail management at a large pharmacy chain for 17 years, and was a manager of a grocery store for another large chain for 9 years before that. But you're right, I don't know anything about profit and loss...
Which community do the employees of these stores come from? Hmmm? 🤔 Do you think they are commuting from Evanston, Lake Forest or Bannockburn to work at Walmart in this neighborhood? 🤣
More stores need to adopt the Costco system, with a membership card required for entry. No card? Trespassing. Keep out. RFID is another entry screening method.
Thats the whole point behind all this drama. The corporate powers and government deliberately allow crime to get out of control, so they can come with the 'solution', which is for more government surveillance and control over peoples lives, eroding the US constitution and pushing it towards a China style techno dictatorship.
Things could change if you take the person stealing when they are caught instead of just slapping them on the hand and tell them not to do that anymore, cut a hand off and the people that are caught stealing I bet would think twice before they stole anything again.
Chicago deserves this. Y'all get what y'all voted for, when things don't work out and y'all needa leave the state, don't bring y'all blue hats please. Either change or stay in Gotham... I mean Chicago
That’s because you probably live in an area where the quality of life is better as well as the business prospects. Why of all stores to close would they choose to close in thriving neighborhoods?? Not rocket science.
