There are many types of men, some as he describes and many others not all men are the same. Men who have a placeholder female, is worried about what other people say...but it is truly someone he holds a lot of value in cognito (the placeholder), but he doesn't have the courage to be with the person he chooses, instead he is searching for whom his mom or friends or family or coworkers will approve.....and I've seen some women do that too, they hide their "friend" cuz they don't want to admit they want to be with that person that they want, they care more about their ego and/or image and not being genuine. Being a fake person is being with an imposter and paraded faking emotions, fake feelings and living a life like is all 100% Lies on top of Lies and also lieing to one's own self and denying one's own self true genuine love, peace, joy and happiness 🫶🙏🏻💞

What’s hard is that as a woman. I would be willing to support a guy as he lost that 20 pounds, because I know sometimes it’s tough being single and people fall out of shape because they’re discouraged! I wish more men could see that a woman can really shine when they are loved and supported. Sometimes we all just need someone there with us on our journey to becoming the best version of ourself!

I know of a few male friends that they've met his woman almost like love at first sight! One met her at the train station platform, and another met her at a dinner party then knew straight away he'd want to marry her then he did it. Fairytale stories can also be reality for some! :)

Oh don't fall for all Words & No Action! I was "dating" a guy. Lots of beautiful words and texts. We did a couple of things together but he kept cancelling saying he forgot we had plans or double booked some work event, etc., when we had real plans! Then was ghosted rt before Christmas & found out he was texting at least 3 other women a real player! They need to Talk the Talk & Walk the Walk!! If not Adios!

Im 40 years old and still waiting. The men that i like, never like me. Then the men that like me, i never like. Its a very hard cycle. I can feel you on the 20 pounds point. I made two promises to myself last year concerning my eating habits and lost 20 pounds easy. My clothes fit better, I now tuck my shirt in and belt it to make it neat. I'm not hiding my still full waist and butt. I'm not teetering between squeezing or fitting into my jeans and it makes a difference. I'm no where near where I felt most confident, but there is a difference.

Yet I feel like no matter what someone looks like on the outside, it's the inside that matters as well (I know it's "cliche-ish"). I believe that when a man and a woman fall in love with the mind first and foremost with one another, then it could beautifully progress from there. Stephan the weight issue can go the other way as well. Years ago men would tell me "you cute but you need to gain some weight" 😂. I would feel so insulted but over the years I did gain weight and I have to say they were right😂 with some of us a little weight makes a BIG difference.

I get so confused on the separation between attraction and feelings - for me one cannot exist without the other. If I'm attracted to a man I start viewing him romantically, so it's difficult for me to imagine someone viewing them separately, even though a lot of people do. Hmmm wondering if two people aren't attracted initially or they carry preferences, I question if the rest will fall into place. If a man has a "propensity" for certain physical traits will his taste change just because she's the one, will he ever be completely satisfied? Could this become an issue in the future when the limerance wears off and long term connection sets in??

Well I check all the boxes…. Can’t wait to see what happens between us. It’s been almost 4 months and I do feel he could be the one. I just need to know that he feels the same way. What I appreciate about him most is that he does love being in my presence without sex. He just like to talk and be next to me. Sometimes we fall asleep and sometimes after we talk it’s like the sex is even better because we are continuously building our bond. He is really sweet to me and I feel like I am falling in love 2nd time. Last time was 20 years ago but they moved out the country. I thought I would never feel that feeling again. I have self awareness to a certain degree, but it hurts to know that men will use you for temporary time and not even see you as THE ONE. Once they find what they’re looking for they’re gone. It’s easier for men to walk away, but hard for a woman to let go. I don’t even feel he’s using me. Maybe I’m just a good friend for the time being.

I’m with an amazing man who speaks all my love languages. I don’t know if I’m being insecure, I hate one of my other girls friends even point this out to me. But he keeps following baddies on IG. And not like popular baddies but women I know he would pursue. I know it seems childish and petty but I just wonder why keep searching if so certain about me?! Please help!!! I like this guy and he is really shy, am also really shy. He is reserved and quiet. My family invited him and his family over to our house and he is always quiet and reserved. But when we are in a different place he seems a little more talkative. I’ve seen him look at me a few times from far away and he looks away. The other day his mother told me that if I ever wanted to go to the movies to let him and his sister know so we can go together. Then he starts speaking and kind of stuttering, he said “yeah. My guy right now is when he is doing everything to help us be together a things faulted, he will not talk to me.. he distances me so I won’t see his frustration. As a women, I need words. Some form of communication. You can’t just not, not talk to me an think I will be ok!! Says he loves me. Yet I feel ghosted from a man who ‘loves’ me!? Your having an issue a you love me.. how can we connect when you/me can’t fix things together!? Why? Isn’t that what a relationship is!? Crazy to me. An extra frustrating. I want peace. If you would just talk to me.

I have to say I'm am really frustrated with men these days!! I have gone on a date with two different men different time frames and each one turned out to be married. These older men in their 60s. I have learned to research the men I go out with and that's how I fine out they are married. All I want is someone who I can trust but dont think I will find him seriously! The last guy I dated I’m not even entirely sure he liked women at all… the only guy I ever dated in my WHOLE LIFE that didn’t even come remotely close to trying to sleep with me. At 1st it was cool cuz I’m abstinent but then like after 3/4 weeks… and then 5mos still no physical intimacy… & he wouldn’t speak about his feeling so he wasn’t communicating what the issue was… destroyed my self esteem… To be clear even gay guys have tried to hook up with me… so I’m still confused… lol

I had a man contact me through messages, I can’t explain why but we just seem to click with each other through the things we shared with each other about our selves and what we were wanting from our future and relationship, we would share video messages with each other and constantly sharing pictures of our selves. Currently I'm hurt. Some other woman called to tell me my man has been dating her as well. She gave me all their chats and I approached him. Ever since then he doesn't speak to me. At first he wanted to deny it all, until I dropped the proof the lady sent to me. He was actually apologising to her and denying he never had a relationship with me.

Unfortunately, this motivation decreases as life goes on. The older a man gets, the less he has the need to commit himself to a woman to the same extent, to care for her and to look after her as he would have done when he was younger. I think this urge only comes to the fore up to a certain age and then diminishes more and more. Especially since our form of society shows that women live more and more independently (which is a good thing). But from around the age of 50, everyone has a lot of experiences and influences behind them and no longer sees any point in committing to a woman again. For many people it's simply too tiring and they have the mindset: now I'm free and from now on I just want to enjoy my life. For the good people who really mean it, it's very sad. Here in Germany in particular, the topic is handled a little more harshly. Because different cultures deal with it differently.
