Hey Stephan, I have a question? So, right now the guy that I’m with left and he traveled and it’s been two weeks now. So, he was going to tell me that he traveled but he has thing that it’s hard for him to say it or explain because he doesn’t want to make feel sad nor feel away from me although Technically we are in a long distance relationship. Now, I’m giving him space of not reaching out to him or texting him, I called him a few times to be honest with u, but the calls are unavailable. And we havent since literally called or video called. Meaning that we just text throughout the week. It’s been like since we got into this relationship. And we did address our needs and wants he does show in the text, love and affection though. So, I’m scared that he might cheat on me. On the media seems like he’s working. Oh as for me, from my side I gave him everything he asked for and he does provide , like getting me gifts and thinking about the future picture but I think it’s a wrong time because he hasn’t made that move yet, still for us to meet up in person. Where, clearly said to him that once u make that move we decide what to do next. So I feel he’s pressured maybe, but he say that he wants us to meet. And whenever, something comes up in my life whether I’m busy with work or doing something, I always tell him. He does say that going for work but he has thing where doesn’t really tell me what he’s up to you. And when I ask him, he doesn’t say things to the fullest. My question is, how can address this out to him. So he doesn’t do it again? About traveling and what can I do to address my issue to him? Hopefully u can help me…

I know that younger women often fall for the bad boys, some women never grow out of it. They bring drama, excitement, are totally unpredictable and you will get constantly hurt. Bad boys are not long-term relationship material. A simp neither. A strong good man (reliable, will lead, support you, has values and morals, works, financial stable...) Also towards other people. Now that's the type of guy you can build a good long-term relationship with and building a family. Do not take him for granted. Appreciate him and respect him. Respect = Love from a man's perspective.

As a guy, certainly true. 💯 Basically, it's mostly not that we do not care, but rather that we do not realise it's a big deal for you. In general, we are more logical and communicate differently. You should watch how we communicate with our male friends. It's pretty straightforward. Hints, complaining (nagging) will not help. The best way is to remain calm and tell it straight up what exactly brothers you. What really works very well. for example: "Honey, you know I love you very much, but I would be so happy if"... (explaining the issue(s) and why it's a big deal... ) So now you have his full attention and he will truly listen and definitely work on it. If this does not work, he's checked out, a total dushbag and you are better off without him.💯 Do not wait. That only leads to more frustration and unnecessary pain. To give you an example, I did not realise that anniversaries were such a big deal for my long-term girlfriend. So now I always surprise her and take into account that for her that's a big deal. I honestly like it, too, now.

This TV scenario is missing something….you tell it all the time but what you don’t consider is….the fact that the man did not have the desire to show affection while being around his wife is the problem. Why doesn’t he naturally WANT to be close to her while watching tv. These are the little things that don’t make sense to women. IF HE WANTED TO BE CLOSE TO HER, he would have….without being coached.

This the comment of the day! I understand couples get comfortable and in a routine. But I like consistency and they start out being attentive and loving then over time that all goes away and you stuck being roommates or he don't hug you unless you having sex. That I cant fix. He has to do the work on his own. Because being in a non affectionate uncomminicative relationship is the worst and I ran from that over a year ago and feel happy I left.

Speaking out of anger, frustration and personal attacks completely override and over rule any pathway to conflict resolution and building up a person's character.

I'm heartbroken but not crying anymore. He told me his childhood trauma and explained he doesn't even know what love looks like. I love him so much and see he's on a beautiful spiritual journey but I just can't bring myself to have casual sex😢. I love myself to much and used to men giving me beautiful love offerings material and their heart. How can I love him if he won't let me. He entertains relationships that are shallow but he's not. I had to really cut the cord. He didn't chose me and I just need to heal.

Most men start pulling away because of lack of consistency and interest not because they don’t realize it trust me. Once you talk to that man and he just brush you off or does not acknowledge and change his actions just walk away it’s not worth the back and forth tussle that is about to happen for Lord knows how many years. Then you going to wake up one day and realize that you have spent years begging a man for the bare minimum

I tried communicating by writing a letter twice. And gave time but still didn't care enough to work on them. I did my part in working on my trauma. His excuse was that this is who I am when you met me. And I'm not changing. Yet, I changed how I was before because it bothered him. So I left. It's going on 3 months since I left and he's sad about the fact that I decided to put myself first.

Best advice for women … 💯, especially at the end. Many women use nurturing to act like his mother, they aren’t aware of what’s happening. Men aren’t going to be attracted to a woman who is in mothering/nurturing energy. He’ll start to disconnect and disengage, and not be aware of why.

First Rule Of Thumb: Treat your spouses how you treated them in the beginning! Just think about it, if that was new person that you really like you would not sit on a whole different couch to watch tv with them 😅 you would be all over them cuddled up. Keep that same energy for your person. Second Rule Of Thumb: Never go to bed angry at each other and always have a mature conversation about how your day went and things that maybe on your mind and show grace and compassion in your feedback and responses. It’s simply being intentional

@@MeetStephanSpeaks I dated a guy and he was very consistent with his words later with actions too, but I worked out he is lying to me so went around randomly to his flat few times when he said he is ill, he wasn't ill, he said he is busy but he was home doing nothing, after this he ruthlessly damped me..we had amazing connection felt so good around him..why did he do that..he said he has someone else..and he doesn't like me checking on him, basically wanting to keep both of us?

In my situation I helped a man come to the country through marriage. Since then I have been helping him navigate expectations in the country.He showed me that he is hard working and sustained working and going to school. However, we had a child a year ago and since then I have been shouldering the majority of the responsibilities financially and physically.I have been emotionally drained after consistently asking him to help me out. We don't spend quality time either. I feel that I did not listen to my intuition here.

I'm very sad to hear this. That must be very frustrating. How is he treating you? Good communication is 🔑 to a healthy relationship. Was he always like this? Introvert? As a man, I have figured out that, in general, women want to be heard, and definitely, we need quality time. For example, I still take my long-term girlfriend out on dates. Cuddle, just hold her. My man kept forgetting my birthday day (date). After a couple of times, i told him lovingly my birthday is on and do not forget. He immediately put it in his phone calendar and has remembered and also asks me what I want. Then he gets me what I want and an extra surprise gift.

He can step up to show he's growing emotionally while you are broken up. Generally takes about a year of assessment to determine if someone has truly turned a new leaf. You have the right to break up and tell him you'd prefer to see the progress (for an appropriate amount of time, ie ... not a week 😊) before returning to a relationship with him. Think about it. You don't have an infinite amount of time. Utilize your time wisely.

It isn't I just wasted time waiting for him as I was also doing interesting stuff for myself and my family but I could have loved myself more to resist his charm and bare minimums. Anyway, as the saying goes, it is never too late to do the right thing as long as you are alive and have the strength to nurture you first. You know what? I recently got ghosted by a guy I was starting to really like.. even thought we both had discussed not ghosting one another, but when I’ve thought about it, eliminating the emotional sting from just getting ghosted, it makes sense that he did because we had also reached the conclusion that we might not be the right fit for each other right now and honestly there was nowhere else more to go from that point forward.. of course I fantasized about him perhaps thinking: “forget about those differences, I like her so much I’m willing to meet her halfway” but almost 2 months later that hasn’t yet occurred and while its been kind of sad and disappointing, I also feel very respected by this man strange as it may it sound.. because any other guy who just would’ve wanted to hook up and not care about the more important things, would’ve still tried to continue to get things from me irregardless… wether it was attention, hooking up or other things he could’ve easily exploited me for.. and he never did and hasn’t.. so wether he comes back around or not, I guess I’ll still respect him irregardless because he had a 100% chance to make this worse and disrespect me and he didn’t, and I find that realization to override any silly ego hurt from getting ghosted… 🤷‍♀️

I am going through this now I have thought about this guy for so long I mean like we were a couple just always thinking about him on birthdays,holidays and just because I wanted him to know I'm thinking about you but he would never return with the same energy I mean I saw the red flags and I felt them also sometimes I felt them so much that I would go home almost in tears especially recently I found out that the whole whole he was nice but at the same time real standoffish with me he has been in a relationship for a long time with someone right around me everyday so you can imagine how I felt so I just stopped bringing him stuff and stopped talking to him he thought I would fall to his feet begging him to choose me but I didn't do that so now it's like oh wait I have to make her think I miss her when I really miss the stuff she use to bring me or the way she made me feel by thinking about me because now that he's seeing I'm not begging for his attention he's trying to get my attention and I'm to the point I have nothing else I've given all Im going to give I'm tired of giving I know this was a lot but i really want to know what you think about my situation Mr Stephan thank you for reading my msg

Communicate what you need & want so there are no presumptions. Repeat back what you hear to make sure you understand what is being said. If there is true love, trust, repect & God in your relationship there should be workable solutions, which may include parting ways! Treat your partner the way you want to be treated!❤❤

I started dating a guy that I have known for 15 years as friends he told me I'm too sentimental, I'm this I'm that and he told me that I care too much to just stop caring about everything just don't care ..He also told me that I was hard to be around . I just didn't understand ..I get along easily with others have a bubbly personality very independent and love God and people..To make a long story short I feel like he is always attacking me personally...I don't know if I'm losing it and can't see what he is talking or is it him trying to control my emotions..I want to look at him in a positive light because I really care about him...Help please 🙏

I had the same issue just a few days ago, he keeps ignoring me so when I had enough I brought up the issue then I tried to pull away cause I had enough the next day He really made an effort to message me so the rails are back on track again...

2 years, and then he tells me Im the one that wants a relationship. 13 years of age difference, he prior was married. Why did I hold on for so long? For him to tell me, Im the one that wanted a relationship. Im emotionally tired, and its draining me. After everything I have had done for him and our memories. I don't deserve this.

If a man really cares, he will make effort to learn his woman of choice. No excuses. Do l as a woman should paint what l need from my man in loving and respecting relationship? No. This is plain relationship matter, for any of relationship. If it is not enough for me to just say what l want him to do the other way, he is not intelligent, or he is not interested in our relationship enough. He for sure is paying attention for what he is doing with his friends, family, etc. So, as l said. No excuses, no wasting time on this, bye

My guy has cancer, a demanding business owner n has elderly parents. He tells me he is so busy with everything. He now only calls once a day, texts a few times, tells me he will call me back (barely does that). We only talk about my health. He tells me he is trying but I'm so hurt by his lack of effort. I feel like I can't say anything anymore bc I'm complaining again and I'm not understanding of his life right now. Before the cancer he did everything right. Am I trippin for wanting more from him? Or should I just take this hurt and pain or just let go n deal with that hurt n pain?

A factor I would have liked to see addressed here is that women are not as drawn to blue collar and trade jobs. Some do, but it would seem that laborious(often union) jobs are matched to men. Therefore, the only way to compete financially as a woman is to get an education or get into business. The trade jobs that pay well enough to house yourself and don't require a college education are not sold to women in their youth. I'm not saying this right. I am just trying to observe what I see as societal expectation and opportunity.
