My left ear enjoyed this.

It costs $1200 for me to make mine in 2022. I needed concrete blocks bc there is no level land in my yard so it added about $100. I also got outdoor paint to protect the wood and a tarp to cover it all so the costs add up as you need more things for it.

My right ear didn't learn about how much it costs :(

i have a Masonite halfpipe, that I always covered up, but the rain water would leak through the tarp and the water destroyed it of course. So if you make an halfpipe put a long bar from one end to the other and then put a tarp over, so the water doesn't just sit there and leak through the tarp.

metal coping is better than pvc

thing is i have a HUGE sheet of 1/2inch wood, all the tools, loads of nails and screws, loads of thick wooden strip things (i think they are 2x4 but more like a stretched square), metal pipe for the coping and some other bits. so how much will it cost me? and or what else do i need?

Maybe he's referring to a site like Craigslist or some classified where someone in the neighborhood is getting rid of one. Otherwise I don't think it's possible any company would sell a halfpipe for $100 unless the shipping was several hundred dollars.
