Hey BEAT fam! Here are some apps that I HIGHLY recommend you grab if you haven't already. These will help you get more consistent with your bible study as you are on the go! Enjoy!
i love this! i am 16 trying to be more closer with God and i am so glad i stumbled across your videos, may God bless you with many subscribers and many more awesome video ideas!
Lana-- I am happy for you in your journey I too am on the christian journey as well. I can also recommend Bible gateway this site is so amazing. My pastor recommends it as well but I used it before hand. Good luck and God bless.
God bless you kids; stay strong stay in the word and stay close to other believers. Many of us older folks wish we had started when we were your age. God bless you
I was going through a hard time with my relation ship with god and I stumbled upon your videos completely on accident you have helped me so much god has his ways
Praise GOD... I was just looking for best app to improve myself spiritual... I was browsing some other video but got this video really useful..... Thank you pastor ❤️ Love from India 🇮🇳
You version is a great app. The Bible can be selected in any version and you can also do daily devotional of faith, hope, the Holy Spirit and many more topics. Thanks for sharing yours I downloaded the ones you mentioned on your video.
I really like the Bible app by YouVersion as well. It's one of the first apps I have downloaded on every cellular phone I've ever owned. It keeps track of all of my highlights with each different version that I use. That's great. However I use it more for personal reading and less for the commentaries. The app has a wide variety of different study guides available, I just simply don't use them very often. One of the features that I like about the app is the dark light feature. I find it much easier to read. The text is white and the background is black. The default is the reverse which I find more difficult to read. One of my sons likes the "read to me" feature which is only available with certain versions of the Bible. However, it works well for him because he can listen to it on the bus with his headphones.
Olive Tree (your fourth suggestion) is outstanding. So many Bibles, commentaries, books, etc available at a low cost (even though the app is free). It's also available for your computer and it syncs across all your devices. I have it on my phone and on my Mac laptop. So I can highlight a verse on my phone, write a note on it and then continue to study it on a bigger screen with all my notes and highlights waiting for me on my laptop.
Thanks to.your comment, i now know about sharing.on different devices!! Being.83 and hindered by sight and arthritis in dexterity and mobility, so your ideas will really help me!!
My friend, you never cease to bless me! I SO appreciate that most of your messages are brief enough that I can get a full teaching in my short commute to get my head in the right place before work. As for the apps, I just downloaded 3 of them immediately and I’m pumped to dive in. I also have the Logos software but have not worked out how it works yet. I just got the CSB study Bible. I love the YouVersion app’s ability to pull up different versions quickly and easily and most have audio. Of course I am almost always reading several books on my Kindle app.
I know this a late comment but I JUST found your channel.. Evernote!! The best note taking app! I keep all my church notes, men’s study group notes, personal bible study notes, etc all in Evernote. It’s all searchable and I can tag each note with key words. I also use Olive Tree. I know you can keep notes right in Olive Tree but I prefer Evernote. I do highlight verses in Olive Tree as an indicator that I have a note for that verse though. Great channel! I just subscribed!
I’m shocked you didn’t give a shout out to YouVersion Bible app. You can have group devotions with other Christians and even write responses within your group study. You have audio devotions and video devotions as well. You can share verses to social media or your friends within the app. You have several versions of the the Bible to choose from with many having audio narration. You have a wide variety of topics to choose from by many of the great bible scholars. And you have so many choices of the length of the study to be , days, weeks, month or yearly. This app has been a staple for me for many years and it’s always expanding in its variety. I guarantee it will be a blessing to you.
I have downloaded all four apps, I really like Bible.is I like they read the Bible with the Drama its fun it makes reading/hearing the Bible a lot more interesting, Love it, and Got Questions is cool it helps break down what I am reading so that I can understand it, Great thank you.
Blue Letter Bible gives comparisons with Greek and Hebrew versions. Also if we select a word it will show every verse it appears in bible to give a complete picture of it.
I love using the MySword Bible app because its: fast, lightweight, works offline, and high customizable theme-wise for better readability and general creativity. I highly recommend trying it out❣️
Tyvm brother, another great vid. I use YouVersion Bible app. Tons of studies, many topics, reading plans, dozens of versions to choose from, built in social component, highlight, bookmark, create/use verse image generator, share study with up to 250 others - & it is costantky growing. Totally surprised it was not your top choice. I respect you deeply, I'll check your recommendations out. Ty Allen. Blessings to yo in abundance!
I'm using the app called Through The Word. You will listen to a speaker who will go through each chapter and giving a break down of it. Most of the clips tell you how we can apply each chapter to our daily lives. Most of the clips are less than 10 minutes long. I love it.
I've always loved your videos, and this one has me really excited.my biblical knowledge is more of stories and characters. But these apps will help answer a lot of questions non believers ask me.now I'll feel so much more equipped. Thank you so much
My recommendation study Bible App 1. Biblehub 2. Blue letter bible 3. Enduring word 4. Logos bible 5. Bible maps Very easily accessible and Sound doctrine.
Hey! For the Bible Maps app, is the title for that app states “Bible Map” without an S? Does It have a red pin 📍 for a profile-icon? 👀 I have an iPhone btw. I hope it’s the one you were referring too. Anyways, thanks for the recommendations. 😃
Thanks for introducing me to “Got questions” app. Lots of information. I use e-sword Bible software and app. I use various bible versions, commentaries. It is a free download software and cost ten bucks for iOS . Highly useful. Stay blessed.
You Version for sure! I love that you can do group studies of devotionals on there with open forum after each day’s reading. You can highlight and make images of verses and add notes.
Another great video Allen! I'm currently using youversion bible 💖💗💗 their diverse reading plans! Desktop Biblegateway is good to read different scriptures from other bibles, and I have purchased a couple of bible commentaries for offline use through Tescarta. Downloading Got questions app now. Thanks for sharing your resources with us. May GOD continue to bless your ministry! Amen
I love Chip Ingram! His book Culture Shock is soooooo good. Highly recommend. Also I use the You Version Bible App which has audio options as well as study options. I’m using it now to study the Bible chronologically.
These apps all look great, I have one app currently on my phone, it is the Youversion bible app. I think this app is just fantastic!! I've been using it for several years. I will check out your recommendations though. Thank you. God Bless.
I read Youversion because I like how it’s set up and plus you can choose from many different languages. But the one I use most is called Biblehub. Biblehub let’s you read the scriptures in the interlinear format with the Strong’s numbers. And you can also read the Aramaic peshitta if you select Aramaic NT.
Before I saw your video I had a couple of these apps before such as Olive Tree, Bible.is, Got Questions, etc. What I like using the most is YouVersion and Got Questions
Our Bible is a great app! it has a bunch of versions of the Bible for free (some, however, are paid sadly) and a bunch of devotionals! i haven't used it much yet but it seems like a good app so far!
I love the you version bible app. They have all versions. Audio bible. You can highlight , save and email or text verses and there are various bible study plans with a reminder and videos . Also there is a kids bible app
I have most of these apps myself, my preferred study app however did not make your list, logos bible software. Olivetree has a lot of great tools besides the readings by the way, also for devotionals I personally use youversion. What ever works for you though brother, thats the important thing, find what works for you and stick with it.
@@xptweak I've messed with the bookmarking, but I can't seem to figure out how to bookmark several verses at once. I can with highlighting, but bookmarking only allows a single verse at a time. Is there a way around this?
@@ThePaulKM you cannot bookmark multiple verses at once in tecarta, yes! that is a needed feature, but what I do is, I will highlight the verses in appropriate colors and bookmark only the starting verse, so I know its a set of verses, so far this works for me so I am not missing this feature a lot.
As a student of the word, I love using Mysword for Android. It's not setup like Youversion but you can downloada plethora of bibles, commentaries, books, and dictionaries...and all if it is used offline, which is my favorite part of Mysword. HUGE PLUS!!! You can customize the display, journal, add pictures, and add music/audio. Been using for six years.
Thank you..just found you love the overview of the Gospels..thank you..I use the (You Version App)daily scripture study & many Bible study plans & many versions to compare its a great app.
In addition to the Q&A app, the best apps are the study Bibles, eg Life Application study Bible NASB, the Jesus Bible NIV and the Charles Spurgeon study Bible. For those who want a verse by verse study Bible there is the Macarthur Study Bible, CSB study Bible as well as Life Applications Bible. They cost a small amount to buy but are well worth buying. I use the Tecarta study Bible app and love it. Study Bibles can also be purchased as ebooks on google play. Some free Bible ebooks and Christian literature are available as ebooks also. without the extremely irritating and disruptive ads of free Bible apps.
I use the You Version Bible App. It has all translations to compare, great bible studies and our church is able to download sermon notes and you can add to it.
Wow just wow , I have recently have decided to come back to god and been struggling with it because thing that my mom side of the family's Basically lied about God in what The Bible actually meant so finding out the truth has been a little difficult and read the bible is difficult too for me not just because of the wording but I have Dyslexia so it makes it hard to read at times so at school and what not things are most of the time read to me Not all the Time don't get me wrong I can read it's just hard so when I found the bible.us app it was god sent it makes it fun for me to listen and pay attention I like how it makes voices and Sounds dramatic it makes it more enjoyable In more heartfelt thank you Allen for Introducing it to me I honestly thought those bs apps but NO! So far I like it and today is the second day I've had it thank you❤
Hello Allen; I'm using a Windows phone and was only able to find 1 out of the 4 apps that you suggested. That 1 izzzzzzzzz (drum roll please), "Got Questions"! Bible. Is, One Place and Olive Tree ... the Windows app store did not have. However (wonder why it is that some words just make you feel smarter), in my search i came across this app that is very straight fwd. It is the "NKJV Offline Bible". If one can get by seeing advertisements at the bottom of the screen and that there is no search or settings ... they'll be good to go. I also use in conjunction with the NKJV Offline Bible, the "Bible Dictionary App".
Hi Allen! May I suggest the Holy Bible App. It’s a very user friendly app that encompasses all the components of the various apps you’ve shown but adds the social network platform too. It also has different guides and different videos as well. There’s also a feature to set individual alarms/alerts for your studies. There’s also options with each study you select to make it public to your Holy Bible friends or keep it private. (Something’s you just want to keep to yourself) I’ve been using this app since 2012 when I 100% accepted my walk with Christ and I absolutely ❤️ it!!!
