This is like going back in time for me. I flew Grumman American planes in the 1970s when I got my license in northern Minnesota. I really like the simplicity of the Tiger and it had plenty of power for modest cross country trips.
Tigers have 280 hp O-360-A4Ks i them and they burn 18.5-19.6 on taker off and cruise leaned to 10 GPH (135 knots), the O-540 burn 26.7 on takeoff and leaned at altitude burn 11.0 gph at 165 knots.
What about checking the prop for stone chips and scrapes and if its the first start of the day hand swing the prop to sick up some oil to the top end before you engage the starter
Want to like this video, well thought out, but the camera person needs to tilt up a bit. Filling the frame with shots of the ground and wing, cutting off the head of the person doing the inspection, that's bad video. Aww, who am I kidding, I like plane videos. Like clicked.
