I stayed here in July, it was nice. Friendly staff and guest friendly. Great pool on roof top. Couple things I did like, room safe wasn't bolted down, fridge was more of a wine cooler type and didn't keep anything cold.
Great video. I stayed here December ‘22… out the 13 times (obsessed) I’ve been post Covid, this was my favourite hotel for comfort and all round enjoyment 😊

Another brilliant review BC. Very nice hotel. Love the modernness and the quality of the rooms. Walked by it many times during construction and happy to see it turned out to be very stylish . This hotel as well as the Debua hotel across the way are signs that Pattaya has many affordable and newer accommodations to suit any budget .

You are right, the location is excellent for those areas. And finally...they've finished the roadworks that were going on outside. Well, until they decide to dig it up again!
thanks BC, nice review, i have been looking at the Amethyst for my next trip but generally i like to make a base for the whole trip which would be expensive.........maybe i will stay for the last few days only, i realise you tried the breakfast to show what's available and the price was fairly good, but i would have been tempted to walk down to Nicky's where you can get a huge full English for less than 100TB i was really impressed with the pool, looked to have plenty of sun-beds and space, and the views were very good they are promising to finish the roadworks on soi 15 by the end of October but i can't see it! take care👍👍👍
Thanks for the comments ,Tony. Agreed it can be expensive at times I'm lucky that I can pick and choose when I go. Nickys is always a good shout for breakfast. In general I prefer to eat out, but this was one of the better buffets As regards then roadworks I'm totally convinced they'll be finished by October although I don't know what year! Cheers mate!
Great review. I stayed there for 16 days in Feb 2024. Love that hotel- great room, great location, guest friendly, super helpful staff, right on the corner where 7-11 is, is a motorbike cab stand (super friendly guys), so I really love that hotel. I don't ever do breakfast included packages, but a friend had a coupon and I tried it one time- kind of typical breakfast. I'd honestly rather eat at Bake N Brew down the street. Aside from that, amazing hotel. That little coffee bar next to the check in lounge made me an incredible latte, so coffee for the win. I already have another trip booked and am staying there again. Great hotel!
Wow, Alex! That sounds like a great stay! No wonder you're coming back! I agree about hotel breakfasts in general. There's almost always a better option outside. And I bet there's not many hotels that could match the "bread buffet" at Bake n Brew. Their bread is superb!
Fingers crossed for the roadworks. You can never accurately predict how long they'll take. Buy although it looks bad outside the entrance it's not really that inconvenient for getting out and about. I'm sure you'll have a great time there.
I stayed there in July, brilliant hotel all round, staff were amazing, and the bed was best I’ve slept in in Thailand 🇹🇭 Also loved the couches by the pool, an all round great place to stay 😊

@@balloonchaser ha ha, that’s exactly what I did in July, but it was Amethyst for three nights for a trial and Areca for 10 nights as I know it well and love it there. Looks like a week each next time 😃
Stayed for a week in January. Not bad. The rooms, even the higher category ones don’t have much of an outlook. Would only return if the room rates come down - it’s a bit overpriced in my view… Most memorable was the lunch/dinner menu in the restaurant - delicious
Thanks, Durian. Have to admit I was pleased with what I got for the price but the cost does fluctuate a lot. You are right about the room views, nothing special but the location is pretty good and I did like the view from the rooftop. I'll keep looking see what else I can find!
great job, hotel has everything except a not needed view and with no view don't care about a balcony. how many years are the road works expected to last ?
Thanks, BB. It's true most people don't worry about the view much. It's a fair way back from the sea. I never ask how long Thai roadworks will take because it's always wrong and even when they finish that's usually a signal to dig it up again :-)

Yes, they have rooms with balconies. I was looking at a deluxe twin with a balcony earlier. Currently advertised for around 2800 thai baht one night, excluding breakfast.
@dantae666 Thanks for your support I've done a couple of 5 star hotels on the channel. The Cross Pratumnak was the last one (loved it). Luxury condos is a good shout!
Not a location I would consider. The hotel is nice enough, but Soi Buakhao is an awful place. It's like a human zoo, full of all sorts of badly dressed, malformed misfits. Walking along it is not a fond memory for me.
Thanks, David. I think this area is changing and it's now got hotels for most tastes and pockets.. Yes, most people would like it for the bars, but it's well placed for the shopping centres too. Hope you are both well!
