In todays video I break down 4 items that golfers should consider getting rid of if they want to look stylish in 2021! We say goodbye to the white belt, the beige trousers and look at the right belt, shoe and cap combinations to look your best on the course. The old saying of 'look good, feel good, play good' is as true today as ever and todays video is aimed to help you achieve this and hopefully improve your golf!

So..navy or black colors so we all look like the same? Absolutely not, Worst advice. My fellow golfers stay different on the course wear what you like and make it fun

Nah a good colored sock to accent the outfit is a must. Same when I wear a suit or any business casual. Nothing like wearing a grey 3 piece with a white shirt, and some nice sky blue or red dress socks. Definitely agree on the white belt. But I do bring out the white side of my reversible belt with white pants

I totally agree on all 4 points but I do love the Sounder beige trousers. With the right outfit they look damn cool!

What?!!! A white belt still looks great and the golf course is the ONLY place I can wear a white belt. I tried to wear one sitting in a cubicle all day...didn’t work. Keep the white belts! 😆

Not sure why it seems like your getting hate for an opinion about fashion. I definitely need to incorporate some more navy. Navy is class. I’m still under 30 so I’m gonna rock my stance socks for few more years before I have to grow up 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Love the content, keep it up.

So here’s the tricky part about a white belt… I live in Texas and it’s pretty hot here, we have to wear a lot of brighter colors because wearing dark gray black or navy doesn’t quite work. I get that the white belt is over worn but that’s because it works with pretty much every color you want to wear. With the price of belts ranging from $30-$50 if not more and having to have multiple to match different styles you were wearing seems a bit much when your white belt will go with a lot. Also white hats and white shoes are typically worn in the hotter states and you can wear whatever color you want and The only thing matching it with your hat or your shoes is the belt

General rule of style with belts is it must match the shoe, so white shoe, white belt. But then wear something lighter to tone down the chopped in half look a white belt creates.

I can’t believe I watched this and I thought Mark Selby was a snooker player not a golf fashion critic. Will happily play you for money sir, would be so easy to get in your head if looks are all your worried about. Turn up in beige chinos, red socks, white belt and green hat with Slazenger golf shoes. My shop I work in stocks it so that’s where I get my bits from but GolfPoser or TrendyGolf are the best places online for me 👍🏼

Subtle matching is much more attractive then obvious matching. Not sure if you knew this when Rory wore the white hat as it matched the logo on his shoes. Wearing a black hat would be too obvious and basically over doing it. Not sure if you know this but matching every single color is not style.

DISCLAIMER! I should have said in the video, this is an opinion based video, I’m not saying everyone has to dress a certain way. The best thing about fashion is that everyone has there own opinion, rock what you like and certainly don’t judge people because of what they wear! That’s not what I’m here doing. I don’t know what kind of weird magic you had on golfers this year but apparently they didn’t take your advice because I have seen more beige/khaki trousers and shorts than I have seen in 9 years of golf. But I get your advice is subjective because it doesn’t necessarily work with people that live in different climates because in the summer in Texas you have to dress for comfort also with trying to look good. 38°C on a golf course will change your mind on what you’re wearing

White belts are meant for white pants. I would hate to have white shoes, pants and hat with a colored belt of any sort. I know the white pants are for good players but I still like them

Something I personally don't like is wearing different brand logos at the same time. So I buy shirts and trousers without logos. And if I am wearing Nike shoes, I try not to wear an Adidas cap and vice versa.

Beige pants/shorts with any light coloured shirt might be one of the the simplest, best looking styles to wear at any point on the golf course

Dude...this is golf! Flamboyant, contrasting colours.......100%!!! I have to say tuck in your polo but wear any colour, try and match your trousers but any colour trousers are fine too as long as they go with the rest of your outfit. Most of these tips are absolute nonsense!

Guys, don’t listen to this guy if you’re an avid golfer. Wear what you like and what you are comfortable in. It doesn’t matter what other people think of the colour of your cap, belt or socks. What’s more important is that you have fun and play well on the course, not that you ‘look good’, which is subjective anyway, where as a scores are not. Play well!

@@Tomscores fashion is subjective. And telling people not to wear certain items is trying to objectify it, which is impossible. In the video he doesn’t speak from a place of opinion, more from a place of fact for example he says things like ‘get rid of this and that’ rather than ‘I personally don’t like the look of this, but each to their own’. There are so many more important aspects of fashion, such as how comfortable an item of clothing is or the sustainability of where it was made, or the treatment of the foreign garment workers. None of these subjects are broached in these videos and I feel the focus is wrong. We should be bringing more people into the game whatever they wear, rather than making them feel bad because they’ve got the wrong coloured cap on.

Hi Ed, thanks for your comments, the video is entirely opinion based as is my channel in general. I would never make people feel bad for wear certain items of clothing nor would I judge someone. There is an element to this video that is tongue and cheek and growing the game is something I’m very passionate about too. I’m sorry if the content offended you in any way, this wasn’t my intention.
