Shifting gears with this video and the coming ones-Tennis RU-vid is *filled* with *so much* technical content (some great, some questionable). But I feel there's a lack of guidance in helping players with long-term improvement. My focus now? Helping club & rec players break through plateaus, learn *how* to practice and not waste countless hours on the court, and prepare more effectively for matches and tournaments. Aiming for a more authentic style here, speaking directly to you, and backing up as much as I can with solid sources and references-just like in this video. Let’s see how it goes over the next few months! Cheers, Malhar
Great video. I'd love to see a visual example of "happy feet," or specific tips of what to do to activate footwork and shake my feet free out of a tense stagnation.
Shifting focus to external instead of internal definitely is key for me. The more I tell myself to relax or to do something, the worse it gets. If I just focus on the ball and the opponents, everything becomes automatic. This is the same principle mentioned in The Inner Game Of Tennis.
Oh nice! Do you mean from internal to external? I need to read and review that book to see if the science matches up with the recommendations. I would be very curious. Thanks for the comment and for watching
