I like this, it helps people who died long before the age of photography (or in some cases portrait paintings) seem that much more human, it helps them come alive. Historical figures in their powdered wigs and clothes so different from our own just seem so much more removed from us.

Am I the only one that thinks the side by side pictures are too far off? I don’t think the ones on the right look like them.

Thank you very much for your work The facial futures are very similar to the original! Just a couple of suggestions: Occasionally the author concentrated on the face, failing to produce the same head shape as on the portrait. Also, smiling Leonardo da Vinci, Napoleon etc look pathetic and fake, because they obviously preferred looking serious (even grumpy sometimes) on their portraits. But otherwise great video!

I really liked that you portrayed the historical figures with modern haircuts and 21st century clothing. Even more effective was that your portrayals were of the subjects in their YOUTH (Napoleon, Mary Tudor, Catherine the Great) NOT when they were elderly and kind of "chubby". For example, Catherine the Great was not always an overweight matron! You've portrayed her as she would have looked as a teenager when she went to Russia to marry the heir to the Russian throne.

Though the faces look incredibly real, the ears look fake.

I wish the pictures/statues had all their names on them. I knew a few but not all unfortunately. I don’t know where these people came from, but so many of them are beautiful

Damn Beethoven was hot, I'm not even gay and I am saying that!!! But also I need to throw in some negatives as some of these "People" are not real, --- Zeus, Apollo, Aphrodite they are all mythical beings (Gods); and even the Mona Lisa, yes she was a real person but that wasn't her name it was the name of the portrait, the woman was a peasant or maybe she was a noble woman from the local village.

I'm thinking Caesar Augustus appreciates his head put back on.. so, are the updated versions real people found on the streets? they look so lifelike! some of these are uncanny.. Cleopatra's marble bust looks less feminine, more manly.. she looked nothing like Elizabeth Taylor! Did George Washington have a vineyard? what he's drinking looks moscato-ey.. cheers, GW! Caligula looks like the boy next door- looks can be deceiving! maybe he wasn't the tyrant he was purported to be?! Is Joan of Arc wearing a Phrygian hat? I like some of them, but they might have the biometrics right, but not the essence of the person. BTW Apollo is hot.

wow some of these were spot on but some were terrible, Mary Shelley clearly has brown eyes in her portrait, blue in her modern rendering, Nefertiti was terrible, Botticelli same thing with the eyes, others very glamorized.

The dude put up as representational of Rembrandt has a vastly different nose from the one in the painting.
