Question is the Imperium of man the mirror image of the Skaven Underempire. This is put in question due to the skaven having similar government structures to the Imperium including the council of thirteen which is practically a mirror image of the high lords of terra. And the Emperor and the Great Horned Rat are also similar due to them largely being inactive in the history of their races only ever acting or having significance in times of great conflict and dire situation for their children races. Along with very similar organizations. Such as the Adeptus Mechanicus being a mirror organization to clan Skyre. While the ecclesicary is a mirror image of The Gray Seers and Clan Pestilens. The Astra Militarum is also a mirror image of Clan Mors for being the main overall military force of their respective empires. The officio assassinorum is a mirror image of Clan Eshin for they are both the assassin of their empires. Clan Moulder is the Mirror image of the Adeptus Astartes for their creation of Rat Ogres and the Stormfiends widely argued as skaven space marines for their advanced armor and weaponry and strength and speed. And finally the inquisition and the Adeptus arbites are the mirror image of the gray seers due to their power, the fact they only follow the Great Horned Rat and that they are the only keeping any semblance of order in the under empire despite that literally being impossible.
I think this entire argument falls apart with the existence of the empire in fantasy, as Sigmar makes more sense as a parallel for Big E, as they both walked amongst men, united a broken people, died and became a god (still debating on that one), after that everything went to shit with a barely operating empire and at some point had a giant fight with chaos. And with age of sigmar, the Astartes have their parallel with the stormcast. The Astra Militarum can also just be the imperial military or free guilds, the mechanicus possibly being a parallel to imperial alchemists or bretonnia (producing highly valuable soldiers and weapons, and being both closet ally and deadliest rival and having a different religon but being the same race)
@@mr.depressed886 That's one way to look at it. But what if Sigmar is a missing primarch? II or XI I believe are the two who's records got redacted. The Skaven creating the Horned Rat is a parallel to the Imperium creating the Emperor as a god albeit by accident but direct worship (A god that has not awoken like Slaneesh)

Questions: - Since Warp Entities can be born from dreams and nightmares, would you be able to create a new WEs? - Expanding on the above question, can a god be born/made that can become a 5th and so on that originated outside the typical chaos warp? - Since there are Warp Entities and Chaos Entities, are there Order Entities and/or gods? Beings in complete opposition to Chaos but are not mortal.
Any non-chaos being is just another threat to any who venture in the warp by ship or through sight of the third eye. I'm willing to bet that even the Chaos Deities have seen something more dangerous to them than the Emperor of Man.

Has the imperium ever tried weaponizing the bugs? I feel that deploying them may be more effective at stopping a demon than sending a bunch of guardsmen.
I remember the 2nd edition of wfrp they gave us the excellent "Tome of Corruption" and the section on creating unique dæmons and even dæmons lords allowed you to use chaos furies as the base dæmon, and that was always a really cool angle for me as a games master because the highly standardized look for the various entities in service to one of the big 4 always kinda bored me tbh, like dæmons of chaos only look like about 12 different things? I always liked them looking obviously scary as shit but somewhat mysterious as to their individual natures as apposed to the "oh it's purple and uncomfortably sexy... Must be a servant of Slaanesh"

So the Psychnuen are the W40K version of bot flies, and while the real ones are already bad enough, since it's W40K they are of course a heavily exaggerated version of the real ones and seriously bad news for anyone who encounters them.
question: is the imperium expanding? how far is the sphere of influence of the imperium? are there empires that exist outside of the imperium's domain?
Its both expanding and contracting. New worlds are discovered only for others to be eaten by the tyranids or overun by orks, or swallowed by a massive warp rift..... There are a couple of notable empires outside the imperium. Couple of ork empires scattered around the galaxy and the tau empire.
Actually, that's a question I've wanted to ask. After they're done fighting for The Emperor in the Materium or they "die" in battle and disappear, where do they go before they are recalled? They sure as hell can't reside in the Realm of Chaos since anything with The Emperor's soul-signature, like his sword, seem to be flat out lethal to demons. Has Big-E carved out his own slice of the Warp like Gork and Mork have, where Chaos just can't reach?
@@randomcenturion7264 Chaos resides in the warp with each god having their own dimension but the entirety of the warp is not completely controlled by chaos.
It would be fun to do some crossover fan fiction with my sci-fi universe into the 40k universe. One of the reasons for this would be an entity that feeds off of psychic energies and nullifies connection to the warp, replacing psychic abilities of its host with its own. It spreads like a virus from host to host, granting them the potential for great powers, but replacing their souls with copies of their own psychic form. It's growth across sectors would be seen from within the immaterium as a great void, or wasteland, as the minds of all living things within would be cut off from the warp. How would the 40K universe react to such an entity, or to a civilization that comes bearing it with the goal of utterly cleansing the warp of life?

Question: If you cut off a Daemon’s head in real space, it gets banished to the Warp, are they still headless and have to wait for their god to get the GW Plastic glue or is their a unnecessarily Sultry Daemonette Nurse to fix them up?

Question are the Skaven or Seraphon the strongest AoS faction and if so how 40k handle the Skaven or Seraphon coming to 40k from the warp after the AOS endtimes. Because Skaven would probably be a major threat to the 40k galaxy if you give them a few hundred years after killing everyone in AoS to develop 40k level tech such as warplas weapons, Skaven Marines as successors to the Stormfiends , and Warp travel. Along with merging Thanquol, Archaon, and the Great Horned Rat into one avatar and entity and would this new entity be called the Great Horned Thanqoul this would also be a good elevation to Thanqoul as it would help with the Gotrek and Thanqoul rivalry storyline. Since Gotrek is already a god it’s only fitting Thanqoul merges with the Horned rat like the Hero of Kvatch with Sheogorath so Gotrek and Thanqoul are true rivals again.
Yes but also no, Skaven would need to have more reliable technology and work together without backstabbing each other (which is against their nature)… There’s also the possibility of all 4 chaos god trying to stop the Great Horned Rat from gaining too much power. For the Seraphon, I feel like there’s a possibility of them ending up like the Craftworld Aeldari, they can’t handle well all the heavy losses that other factions can (Chaos, Skaven, Stormcast, etc.)
This world fascinates me!!! The lore never gets old! I don’t even play the game and I’m completely enthralled with 40k! We desperately need a real movie or Animated series. If done right, this world would over take the DC universe with ease and give Marvel a run for its money! I am a comic universe freak! War hammer 40k’s story and complexity is head and shoulders above anything I have read! I’m thinking of getting a Space Marine Tattoo. Any suggestions?

Maybe a naive Question but... if the Imaterium is a realm and it's possible to get to say, travel to Slaaneshes palace, why doesn't the Imperium or the Eldar develop a mechanised self replicating weapon or army to invade? They would not stop until her realm was utterly destroyed and wouldn't have a way to return!

@@vorgorarkis1968 the thing is the more intelligent you make an AI, the more you have a chance of it developing a mind of it’s own… Meaning that it could be turned against it’s master as soon as it enters the Warp. There’s also a high chance of Tzeench just straight up corrupting it’s creator/sending an army of deamons so this doesn’t happen
Had to stop watching. The imagination for such creatures is just rubbish. The edge of the warp could have so much cooler stuff. The Forge is a good idea though.
Oh come on, it ain't so bad. You get to see daemons, non-chaos beings, a landscape torn up, and possibly get to serve a Chaos Deity. Freedom to use and do as you please.
Not rly... But you got 2 options to die by the Hand of the nicest.... Nurgle kills you with a happy face and gives you the warm feeling of being happily aborted. And Khorne just kills you in the fastest and bloodiest way as possible. I think the worst are the other shit gods. Slaanesh just loves your deathscreams while you tortured to death and nuts on that. Tzeentch just ask and tells you stupid shit while you die confused and don't even know why and what even happened
