This 40 minute slow yoga flow for hips is a beautiful sequence designed to improve our flexibility. It resembles a yin and yang yoga flow thanks to a blissful combination of smooth more active movements and longer holds of deeper stretches for hips. Our breathing will flow alongside our body movements and our mind will remain peaceful.
Within this 40 minute slow flow yoga you can expect full body warm up, smooth flowing movements, gentle hip mobility exercises, deep conscious breathing and longer holds of hip stretches.
This 40 minute slow yoga flow for hips will definitely help you improve your flexibility. There will be a few hamstrings stretches, spinal waves, side body stretches, and deep hip stretches that will unlock any tension and stiffness in your body. This sequence is not complicated and slow so it will be perfect for all levels because everyone needs to take good care of their hips.
I encourage you to take it slow and be mindful of every movement and every stretch that you create. Flexibility might take time so we need to be patient and consistent. Every time we step onto the mat is a blessing and a gift that we give to our body, soul and mind. You will notice that as we stretch we begin to let go of unnecessary tension and thoughts, worries and fear. We grant ourselves an opportunity to dive deeper into ourselves and step away from the outside world. It is a beautiful reason to feel grateful.
Remember that consistency will inevitably bring results. Therefore you can repeat this yoga routine 2-3 times a week to see some progress. Depending on your flexibility you might need a set of blocks (you can grab a couple of books), and a folded blanket or towel.
Throughout this practice I will keep reminding you to find connection to your breathing. Try not to neglect it as it plays a huge role in your yoga practice. It allows you to be present and aware. It reveals tension and resistance. It allows to surrender and let go.

Week 3 Day 6 done!!!! Best slow deep hip stretches flow ever!!!!! My favourite part is lizard to wide pyramid, Skandasana to lizard and circle leg from lizard to half split! This is the yummiest hip stretches flow, I keep coming back to this when my hips are tight or just want to stretch it out! Thanks Marina!! Happy weekend!!

Oh Marina, it wasn’t easy at all !!!! But what are the challenges for???!!! The pigeon pose is still difficult for me and I have to use the blanket to feel more comfortable . I hope each day I will do better👍👍💪💪 Thank You Marina!!!🙏🙏❤️💖🌷🌹

Great practice for the hips! Some of these exercises definitely challenged me - which means I got lots to work on. I loved the mix of the poses/exercises and the yin and yang aspect. 👏

I love this practice, stretching out the hips actively and passively! Only my hips were pretty tight today. 🤷‍♀️ Not their day I guess. And just like that I finished week 3 of the intermediate schedules for the challenge. 😳🥳💃 I'm so HAPPY! Can't wait to start week 4 tomorrow!

I am so far off the ground in the sholei pose and my foot is so close to my thighs in the pigeon pose! Despite this resistance from my body, I have a big smile on my face and my hips are wiggling happily. Have a good weekend Marina!

Week 4 Day 3 done! I just wanted to say, Thank you so much Marina for all the efforts you put in your videos!! Because of you, My stretching routines have become very better, I can feel a lot of difference in my self & very importantly I'm started to become flexible, & so I'm very glad about it:)) All the sesh give quite a burn but that also makes me challenge to not give up for the upcoming sesh!!!

What a beautiful and relaxing flow! I felt sooo tired at the end of the day that I decided to change the practice of the schedule and do this one today, it was a great choice! Thank you Marina for this feel good video, that pigeon twist was sooo challenging and pleasurable at the same time!! This practice is just amazing, the slow movements made me enjoy and feel how the stretches work for hips, today morning i felt sore and wanted to skip the schedule practice, but today afternoon i felt in a better mood like practicing so here im, and really i enjoyed it so much :)
