It’s not surprising, Katja. Your classes have been wonderful for us during lockdown as we can’t get to our gym. Lots to choose from and all very clearly explained. And just in case you were wondering about your demographic, we are a couple in our mid fifties!
Katja I am so so happy to have found you! I used to come to your classes on a Thursday evening and Saturday morning for more than 2 years about 7 or 8 years ago (😱) and had to stop due to moving away. I have never managed to find a Pilates teacher that matched up to you and have never managed to stick to exercise at home..until I found your videos last week, have tried a few now. Lovely to see you and lovely to feel back in your classes again, you have truly been missed. Thank you 😊

I have been following your channel for the whole of lockdown for my morning exercises, it is by far the best one and I enjoy it very much. I have just tried this work out and found it quite hard so will be back to practice it again and hope I get better at it. Thank you for posting new challenges!
Bravo! Another outstanding workout. Your flow and descriptions are superb. Your understated, calm confidence makes you the instructor with the whole package. I liked this one as I do with basically all of your sessions. This one, however, I felt quite challenging (translation - I couldn’t do everything). I’ll have to return to this occasionally do see if I progress.

This has been the most challenging so far, but enjoyed it. Didn’t dwell too long on any given exercise, so if struggling anywhere, there were other challenges. As usual, great narrative and Katja was able to give ‘easier’ options within some of the exercises for those less advanced.
We have loved these classes during lockdown - great instructions, good sound and very clearly recorded. We also love the cheeky smiles here and there! Thank you so much for all the videos
Katja, in gate pose it is very difficult for me to get my lower hip forward for that lovely straight line you describe. Is it better to lower my leg a bit and work on getting that hip forward? Or is there a better modification? I do use the 2 ‘hip flex ion’ workouts they are great but usually I do Pilates after walking/hiking/etc....not after the hip opening workouts. Any advice appreciated!
Hi Khyugpa, you could try placing your hand on a block (book) or two so you have a little more height, it might help to get your underneath hip more forward, and yes you dont have to lift the moving leg so high... it will improve with practice... Thank you for being here with me on RU-vid!! 😊🙏🏼
Thanks Katja! My friend and I have been doing your workouts since we found you at the beginning of lockdown. We FaceTime each on our phones and have your workout on our laptops so we can see each other while we are doing the workout. They are just perfect. They get a day off to a great start, we have just finished a seven day challenge and we loved that. We are so happy that we found you and your pace and voice are just perfect. We also love the space that you film in! Please keep posting your videos, they keep us sane and happy during this time! 💗😘
Hello katja, just a quick message to say thanks for your classes, I'm a fairly fit 61 year old, but have never done any pilaties, but decided to join in with my partner doing some classes to see if I could improve my flexibility, well its worked I feel so much more flexible now and I can even touch my toes! Will carry on doing your classes even when the gyms reopen X
I really like how you transitioned to Wild Thing from the wide-legged pose. The only way I've ever experienced it is from downward dog with one leg extended and then "flipping your dog into wild thing" which is a little scary. Now that I'm older, less flexible, and less daring, I usually skip it altogether. This was a really nice way to get into it and might even build up my strength, courage and flexibility next time a yoga instructor suggests moving into it from a downward dog.
A friend of mine sent me a link to Katja's videos and I'm so grateful. I'm doing several a week and my husband has started to join in too!. I love the classes, Katja is gentle and positive, the studio is beautiful and I always feel better for having spent some time there.
I finally braved this video. It was difficult for me-- I couldn't do the full roll over. That's my new goal in Pilates! Excellent, excellent instruction. I always feel very safe doing your exercises because you explain things so well (I had a shoulder injury last year, so I'm extra cautious). Thank you for a wonderful class.

Your subscribers are sure to only increase exponentially now on, Katja! This was by far the toughest routine for me I feel!Thank you for the easier options.I had to keep adapting along the way, as you advice! Hope to come back to this routine in the future and do it with more grace😂 and strength ☺️
This was a beautiful Pilates flow with some lovely stretches and new positions. I did find some of it hard, but wanted to challenge myself by doing a slightly longer practice. Biggest problem was my leg muscles just shaking, I guess from fatigue?! But your advice Katja to have a small, rolled up towel under my pelvis enabled me to peel down and up, which I was delighted with! Thank you so much for all your hard work Katja!

I've been doing your 40 minute and 1 hour sessions since this summer and I love them! Now my real-life Pilates classes have started again (where I live in eastern France) and in between I'm continuing following your sessions which I adore -- the pace, the calm, the encouragement, and the challenge. Good morning Katja x , i just finished this routine . This class was tough today !! but shows me just how much i need it too because even though i struggle staying in position with some of the movements and frustrated that i just can't quite stretch far enough i still always feel so much more better .... physically and mentally .
