Two things, one, I love the fact that you have your mother's artwork on the walls. Two, I think that really opens up a lot of choices for tiny homes on wheels if you think about putting a container home on a gooseneck trailer. Interesting, thanks for sharing
I like his Mindset for sure especially around dating so get it. I live in Seattle and am trying to figure a way to a legal tiny house in WA state. He seems like a great guy and his pup too.
I know this is about the house but I love the doggie! I agree you can't please everyone, but you need to enjoy your life and be happy right where you are.
@ChristopherDrew-r9o Well, he has an awesome house , the great outdoors, and you, of course, to look after him. It is the weekend here, I am sure you're hitting up the sights in Durango. Have not been to Colorado before, but I have seen the beautiful mountains in pics. Must be restful. God bless!
Nice home nice set up when he said his age 🤯 he looks good 👍🏽 stress ages us and I bet this simple comfy living is what keeps him young and I’m sure healthy living and a lil spf lol keep living it up brother
I have seen a lot of tiny house videos, and, yes, this is a nice build (apart from the bathroom door). However, three things stand out for me: that end table by the couch that unfolds!; the lovely design of the night-tables/lamps; and your mother's one-line ink drawings. Beautiful.
I want to buy a tiny house. I don't need a bunch of space. Being outside more would be beneficial for me. Getting a bike and walking to town would be wonderful. I really like your setup it looks so cozy. Thanks for sharing. It gave me some ideas for my own space. ❤
I too love your mother's artwork. I like your sentimentality. I also have items from my deceased parents in my home that my husband and I use daily and that brings me comfort and joy. Your home is lovely and your dog is adorable. Best wishes.😊
Fantastic opening sequence and music! 😄🎸 9:44 LOVE a big comfy couch in a tiny house! 👏👏 The fireplace, plants, and artwork make this house homey even though it's exceptionally uncluttered. Thanks to Chris (and Mac : - ) for sharing!
Looks like an awesome & perfectly, comfortable & cozy home for you & your pup. It's important to have the outdoor storage, especially when you ride & have lots of gear. With age comes the realization we don't need nearly the amount of space we thought earlier. The tiny home lifestyle encourages less stuff/clutter & more active, quality time outdoors. I've been researching tiny homes for over a decade. My current 1800 sq ft home is way too much space & inefficient for myself & my pup. Finding the optimal community to plant roots & place your tiny home is key. Here's hoping you have many great years in your beautiful home.
Sorry to hear that he lost everything with the divorce, surely it was unfair. Restarting your life at the age of 48 must have been hard but he is an intelligent person and the place looks fabulous. Enjoy it!
Very nice Tiny Home and cozy looking. Your dog is a cutie pie. Love your mother’s art work and I’ll bet she smiles while looking down on you, as you proudly display her art. Enjoy your new home! ❤
Your homes is cool. Love the clean, yet cozy layout. It’s ok not to live in a traditional house. Container homes are amazing, especially when built and designed right. Whoever is for you will love you AND the home. Enjoy brother 💯
I saved this video to one of my play lists because of his closet. That's a smart piece of furniture like his end tables. Thanks for this video guys. As always God bless you both, always. Oh I didn't realize y'all got your shuttle bus done. I look for the video 🤗🤗
Sorry to hear about Winnie but glad she got to live her life with you both! Great product Carolyn's RV does Waggle ads also. Like the floorplan and his concept of simplicity in living small home. Great Video! Shivering black bell thumbs up and Hearts!
Beautiful He could move it to his new girlfriends property and have a getaway place😁Sometimes having space is good for relationships that are in the senior years😊
Really like the container been complicating building one this one looks great I like the Industrial look of them kinda funny I worked construction for yrs never thought I’d would like to live in one of those we had breaks in them on job site lol
I been evaluating my house how much of it I actually use so I spend a lot of time cleaning/dusting rooms I think a garage or shed and a nice porch I could go tiny Thanks for the tour
Lovely, understated, practical, delightful. The house is nice too... 😉 Seriously, though: I love the interior. It's so practical, and well thought out. Not minimalist, but simple. I love the wood and black metal too. Especially the beams. Those black countertops are beautiful also. As far as dating goes, I would be more concerned about the amount of travel you do, than what kind of house you live in. Personally, I lost my husband 10 years ago, and have been dreaming about a tiny house for so long. It's relatively low maintenance, less expensive in the long run, and, like you said- you can always pick up and move it if you need to. Also, I grew up in colorado, and I love Durango. What a great spot to "park your house" 🙂 Finally, you have a lovely voice, sir. If you ever feel like getting out of the medical field, you can absolutely do voiceovers.
@@DiamondDustAndVerdigris i’m sorry to hear about your husband… That must’ve been hard to go through. You’re right about the travel schedule for work… But it’s only another five years 👍
@@ChristopherDrew-r9o I wish. Currently, I'm a customer service manager, and on the phone all day. People constantly tell me I should be in voiceovers (somebody actually told me I should be that person in the airport that tells people to go to a white paging telephone... LOL). But I do have several friends in the voice-over business. If I can ever get the guts to try out for something, it would be awesome. I hope I didn't come across as crass or creepy. Just genuinely impressed.
@@ChristopherDrew-r9o thank you. Yes, it was hard. Pancreatic Cancer sucks. Was probably harder on my kid, though. 13 years old is really not a good time to lose your dad... In any case, I pray you find somebody amazing, who loves tiny houses, motorcycles, your dog, and your kid. 🙂
I seen that Loverboy album 😂....I liked them too, still do. Nice home and the metal with antique is beautiful. I would love to do this. God bless you sir, I pray you are always full of joy and peace. Jesus is my everything 😊
I actually saw that ladder hanging in a coffee shop in Kona Hawaii. Once I bought my house I remembered it and contacted them to purchase it. They sent it overseas to me 😊
Love the setup!!! But... Did I hear correctly? $800/mth for lot parking with "No" utilities included. That stinks! Hell... My 30 year mortgage monthly payment was only $450/mth on a 2 story home w/ basement (built in 40's w/ oak sub-structure). Do the community amenities justify the lot charge?
Container home is nice. The closet idea is a very good design for a small space allowing room for the hangers without the unit taking up extra space on the front of it. Lots of storage capability. Something to think about on the idea of changing the design of the bed for storage, is that if you make a sealed base on it, it is very possible to create an environment for mold. I have heard of that situation from someone who had done that. Air flow in a container home is very important. Your home looks great. Curious, did the builder put an air exchanger in it?
