Aidan Hearn Don’t fall ill my brothers in arms, it took Abbadon cheating the Lore to finally be able to defeat you. So don’t worry. Cadia will forever be remembered and its warriors honoured. Now we just need to go plug it back up again with glorious warriors of the remaining imperium. The guard will push the heretics and Xeno back, the Astartes may be mightier, they ,may have just received new reinforcements and weapons, but they shall never hold the will or sheer bravery of a guardsman. Glory to the Emperor and glory to the guard. We die fighting. We die standing. And we die with our lasguns in our hands.
One thing I'm curious about with Cadia. Since they encounter Chaos so often; does the Inquisition/Grey Knight order ignore them when applying the "kill anyone who sees demons" rule?
Wait... Metal Giant in a Scaled Cloak. That sounds eerily familiar... Could it be, not Trazyn, but Vulkan? As in Primarch of the Salamanders Vulkan? Vulcan was known to wear masterwork armor and a Salamander skin cloak. This would mean that while the primarch couldn't save Cadia, he saved their commander. Food for thought
Love the video. But, no mention of the heroic actions of the 412th on Lorn V? Or the heroics of General "I lift Space Marines through sheer force of grit" Sturnn?
Simply too many heroes and battles to list - I had to make sacrifices somewhere, and I know the story of Space Marine better than I do Winter Assault. Glad you enjoyed the video though!
It's actually my first actual mic, I'd been using a headphone mic until recently. The problem is the setup, which has no soundproofing and no means to set any up, so the echo and background noise is unavoidable. I'm mitigating it in editing, but I can only do so much, though I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Abaddon the Used, Abaddon the Failmeister, Abaddon the horribly wounded by the nerfed Saint Celestine. He reminds me of a Nighthawk Tactical 1911, lots of talk, big reputation, really expensive (3-$4000), doesn't actually perform when you take it outside. It fails. . . often. Canadians are admirable for being normal man and women resisting the worst of the 40k galaxy.
Can not be Trazyn the Infinite because he is not bigger then most humans only two nercons are and one was around but did not help in the is Orikan the Divine empowered from because orikan is with Imotekh the Stormlord who Trazyn the Infinite tried to ask to help because he was near by to help
I don't get it why when GW says to jump some people ask: "How high?" It's fucking Eldar and Dark Eldar and it has been like that for decades. What is wrong with you and 40k Theories? If you are surrendering to stupid and pointless retcons like this what are you going to do in the scenario that people like "Feminist 40K" have influence and start retconning female Space Marines in the lore?
Γιάννης Νικολάου allow me to explain. Whatever we think of the name change, positive of negative, it happened. As content-creators and individuals who stick closely to canon, we chose to respect that; be professional about it and do our damn jobs properly. I get what you’re saying, but at the end of the day we don’t control the path the lore takes, we can influence it to some degree maybe but things will happen regardless. If we don’t respect those changes as creators - note I didn’t say blindly accept, because we critique things if they don’t add up or lack sense - then we’re not doing our jobs right and we’re doing a disservice to our community who come to us week after week expecting our videos to be 100% accurate. Plus it’s well known this was done for copyright reasons as much as anything, so it wasn’t “pointless” as you put it. As regards the other scenario, there is about 1 line total that reinforces Space Marines being male and it’s ancient. If they do it, and I stress if not when, then we will critique the decision; read the lore, see how they justify it and make it fit, then judge it. If it’s badly done and shoehorned in, then yes we’ll push back, but if it’s done well why should we - it’s their universe, as long as they can explain it in the context of said universe then they can shape it as much as we do when we homebrew. And regardless of that, because we have a job to do as (and forgive how arrogant this makes me sound) “loremasters” to keep our communities and the lore we give out up to date. Even if we hate it, we can be professional about it in our lore videos and then rant about it elsewhere. Sorry for the long reply, but it needed to be said - it’s not blind acceptance, it’s being professional and choosing to keep up to date with canon for the sake of getting our facts right and for our audience who expect it from us.
As an addendum, if you choose to call them Eldar and Dark Eldar then you may, I have no problem with it. We’ve chosen to call them Aeldari, Asuryani and Drukhari, but you don’t have to and that’s fine, I did it for the reasons I listed but it’s not forced on anyone else
And here we go with the Eldar/Aeldari thing again! News flash genius: They are still called Eldar! Eldar in the lore is the name humans gave the species. Aeldari is what they call themselves. Both are correct! If you can't handle one tiny little insignificant retcon, then go away. No one wants to hear your bitching!
