I just put up one these today. When I turned the breaker back on, the light and fan come on. The remote does nothing and I can’t figure out what the problem is. It’s wired correctly. Any suggestions on how to fix it are greatly appreciated!
If it's wired correctly it won't do that. These symptoms usually mean that the fan is connected directly to main and has nothing telling it to be dimmer or slower. Double check the wiring just to be sure. If you can't fix it, then I would swap it for a different one at Lowe's or even get a different remote for it.
@@bstad727 if you just bought the fan, id just return it and get a different one so you don't have to spend more money on it. If that sounds like too much work then yeah a new remote would be my recommendation
Question, I just installed this one. But the light is very dim. Fans work with the remote but unsure on how to undim the lights. I tried holding down the light symbol on the remote but it just goes from dim to off and off to dim. I’d appreciate feedback, thank you!
The remotes on harbor breeze fans can be funky. You could get a different universal receiver and remote and use that instead. Just be sure it's compatible with LED lights.
