The pro tip for lishi picks is super light tension. Their tension bar is like 100x stronger than the pick arm...super light tension and only pick 1 bitting measurement at a time. With those two tips, you'll open up anything! I've seen a lot of the pick arms break while using medium tension. Gotta use the "feather weight" tension lol. Great vid
@@BoredLockpicker I haven't broken one yet either but a lot of people I talk to say they've bent or broken one in the past. I just feather the tension and in return there's not a lot of pressure needed for the pins. For me it seems to make it a little easier to get the open. Anyways, I just ordered another 4 for some more keyways haha I obviously love them
They don’t work that way. They work based on which key way it is. The one in this video will open up the Master Lock keyways that use the M1 key blank.
Hi! I have seen in your videos how to find biting for cars using instacode, but how do we go about finding biting for residental locks where keys are lost? I dont think instacode has residental ? I am stupid or missing something? Can you confirm, I am new to locksmithing, once you decode the key with Lishi, you can program the cutter to those values right?
There is no code fill for residential. It isn’t necessary because all the pins are in the lock unlike on cars where the door will have 8 but the ignition has ten. On resi pick the lock take your reading and go to your code cutter and cut it.
Joe DiRisio heard through the grapevine that international key supply was going to be the first in the states to get them in stock. I’ve just been checking their website and soon as I saw they had them I ordered and had it overnighted.
nope. its only for the 4 pin m1. if its the 5 pin m10 keyway you could pick the lock with lock picks then use this to read the first 4 pins and just progress the 5th one.
man this lock is difficult for some reason but i can single pick it in seconds, but the m1 is weird. It clicks but no turns, how much pressure are you starting with? Any tips for beginners using this lishi pick?
@@BoredLockpicker They're genuine Master locks. I ended up getting some keys cut 1 number shallower than the code the Lishi indicated. I impressioned them and ended up removing approximately .020 from each cut before the key would work. My Lishi has a light blue label.
Imagine you opened your Lishi tensioner, out to the side. And imagine the little slider gauge thing (it says , 2 in 1 pick) was accidently grabbed at same time. It is easy to do. And it will snap like glass. No warning.. You don't even feel it giving pressure. SNAP. The dang thing is point1 mm wide. I have decoder tools that are thicker. I'm on disability and I had this junk for about an hour before it broke. Over $80 down the crapper. If you have the ear of the big wigs, there is NO gd reason for the metal to be that thin. It serves no reason, other than to save a damn penny. And make them money when you have to get a new one. I get more angry every day I think about it.
It is probably not a issue, because you said they not making any more padlock Lishis . But, if they did, they might want to consider doing the Brinks keyway. I can use a Brinks bump key in MasterLock keyways and it works great. But it don't work in reverse. Can't use Master Lock in Brinks. I bet if they did Brinks Lishi, you could also get it to work in Master Locks. Try a Brinks key in a M1 key way. It fits. And I have used a Brinks key blank to make a duplicate for an M1 and it works fine. Two birds with one stone.
Every Brinks lock I have, the keys fit an M1. Do you have a Brinks lock handy? So even if just in America, they'd sell more because it is more versatile.
@@noahway13 I’m a locksmith I understand... there M1 4 pin which is the Lishi there’s m10 which is 5 pin. Brinks sold at Walmart is the reverse the keyway
technosasquatchfilms I don’t have any of the four lifter auto motive ones. I don’t have the Best ones either. Nobody uses that keyway in my area. One of these days I’ll get the four lifter ones. Lxp90 could definitely come in handy on Lexus trunk lockouts.
Nice Demo. I'm new to Lockport and enjoy opening Padlocks - mostly rake and a few SPP successes. I'm trying to open a Master Lock No.4 - No Joy. Key number is 3485. Would appreciate the decode to test my Lishi M1/MS2. Please let me know if you can help. Would really like to see this Lishi work out. Thanks
Bumer i guess i woll have to make my own wood like the master one, i only use the msster and the disk lock, i buy used master and disk locks and make keys for personal and resale,u can get many cheep with out keys.
Bearsback not yet. Not sure if they will. You don’t really need it. You can pick the lock with picks then insert the Lishi measure the first four and progress the last cut.
@@BoredLockpicker I actually think it might be a four pin. Need to go and have a poke around inside and see. So in theory, this should work on all 4 pin master locks?
Hello buddy. I wrote to you last week I subscribed. Anyway, you seemed like the one to be able to help me, if anyone can. My Lishi tip broke. I seen that one guy had a video to fix his. He got the replacement part from American. I got my Lishi from CLK. But neither place seems to have tip for M1. Do you know where I can look to find one? You seem to be the guy with the high up connections. Any direction you can give will be GREATLY appreciated.
