Yes that can happen, I will grind off a little on the hump on the strut seat to help prevent that.

So it cannot be replaced with a stock band. I've just recently lost 2nd gear. Working on the ground. The lock up is going away. So I may have to pull it. Informed video thanks. The lock up that's going away is from Mopar 2300 over the counter purchase. Thanks again.
