We spent 48 hours in Palm Springs with Cousin Kaleb & his girlfriend Skye! We hadn't seen them since 2019 so it was so great to be able to spend some time with them in such a cool place! 🌴 This Palm Springs trip truly turned out to be an adventure that we weren't expecting! We started out our first full day getting coffee, exploring the famous Las Palmas Neighborhood, shopping, and later that evening enjoying the Palm Springs Village Fest. The next day we woke up early for a cool hike at Tahquitz Canyon which was met with some unexpected challenges. 💩 We then came back to our amazing hotel, The Drift Hotel, and spend the rest of the day by the pool. We ended up having to evacuate Palm Springs due to a once in a 100 years storm! ⛈️
We definitely recommend visiting Palm Springs earlier or later in the year. We learned that August is not the time to visit as a lot of things are closed due to it being slow season, and the heat is at its worst. Supposedly Feb-March is a really great time to come visit for better weather.
