Guys just focus on yourself and listen to Rory. We've all been there and I'm here now. Entertain your purpose and not distractions. We all know of our short-comings and tend to ignore them. I did no contact with my ex and she did reach out when I thought there was no hope. I was taken off guard and probably wasn't ready. Stop looking for hidden signs in everything your ex does. Just do you and everything else will fall into place.

My ex broke up with me 2 months ago, and it was devastating. We were together for 5 years and we made plans for our future together throughout our relationship. She monkey branched and she was honest about it during the breakup. Honestly, it hurt really bad and it still does. One thing I have learned and I hope it will help you guys struggling with the similar situation, use this time and the feeling of regret to relentlessly work on yourself, every aspect of yourself. Physically, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually. Become a better person and never look back. Use this time to define who you are fundamentally as a person. Instead of regrets and living in the past of guilt of what-ifs, put in the time and effort to become a better person so you shift the feeling of guilty and regrets back onto her, so one day in the future, when she looks back, you were the one that got away.

I found out instead of being in a relationship I was actually the rebound guy. I dont know what's wrong with people when they play with people's hearts like that. But God is good one day I'll find my soulmate.

Many times a new person popped up and your ex suddenly decided this person is better than you- And THEN they start saying how unhappy they are in their relationship with you

Break up really sucks and doing the no contact tactic is really hard, but it is necessary because continuing to chase after your ex and pleading looks weak. Being able to walk away from the ex and never looking back or even caring shows strength. There is always another potential away from the ex. Don't worry about it and move on if necessary.

Can you make a video on 'when your ex leaves you for their EX?" After 4 years in a relationship my ex left me and went back to his ex. This has been particularly hard being that he was treated horribly by her. What's even worse is he had apparently been trying to reconcile 6-9 months before our actual break up yet he lied the entire time about it. In hindsight many of his actions answered lot of questions I had. I'm sure he's very happy and I doubt if he thinking about me or losing any sleep.

I walked out on my ex because she wasn’t listening or adhering my concerns and what she was doing and how it bothered me, then 2 weeks later she jumped to someone completely new, I know I made the right choice now then at the time by leaving cause it showed her true colors and that I will find someone whos willing to match my charisma and energy and she was just a poor life decision it hurts to still think what happened between us but always remind yourself they’re your ex for a reason and you should not put yourself lower to wait for them instead move on and find someone better, exs never change till they hit rock bottom and when they do they change for themselves not for you so you have to move on without them even when they finally realize they messed up you have to make that decision to not look back because if you go back things will never be the same...

I was in a long distance relationship and my ex went offline for a program of therapy. When it ended. I knew she'd come out but she didn't text me for another month by which time she was a cruise. It was a very loving but short message exchange. She got back two weeks later and responded to my text with a laconic "yes" A week later just after Christmas she finally started chatting with me. I noticed the change of tone immediately and I had to draw out of her the fact she'd met someone else on the program and was actually chatting with me while he was reading with her. I guessed in bed. It turned out she was moving in with him the next day Further conversations revealed they'd been an item already 7 weeks. Even before she'd sent me that supposedly loving message from the cruise. I know she'd put off telling me because she was putting off breaking my heart. She honestly didn't want to hurt me. But every time I think about the deception I get really really angry. I still want her back despite that. I just can't let go of what she did to me.

There is this man I was getting to know, things were going really well, we had natural chemistry with great conversation. I was confident that we were building something but soon things went sour. He walked out of my life after 2 years. There was some factors to it. Mostly used me but yet said I was the only woman he felt so in love with. Moved half way across the country with me because “he couldn’t live without me”. Yeah right. A month after he left..jumped into another relationship with a girl who I believe they met on Tinder. She’s nothing like me, more like him. Hate to say it but she’s trash. Alcoholic, drug addiction, was just arrested in June for battery and drug/alcohol. Also has been arrested numerous times. My ex broke up with me bec if that girl He cheated on me, he chatted that lady (coworker) since August 2019 while we're still together and I noticed and read all their conversations and he lied and said he loves me. They were just only friends. January/February 2019 they hang out after work or suring rest days. I already feel anxious and thinking that anytime soon my ex will break me up, so I decided to travel or go on vacation for 10 days, and when I came back home on 1st of March, my ex already leaved me and I was so depressed. I reached him but he was busy working and dating. Until the lockdown happens, so I visited him often in his brother's apartment, and he was so angry with me, cruel and wabtedbto he alone. He told me everything tha he hates me and I was really shicked why he did that. I said you do the cheating but I accepted you, and he said I don't love you anymore. You're gay and I want a girl in my life. Leave me ALONE! After 3.4 years, why he did that to me? I gave all my love, care and helped him and his family financially and emotionally as long as I possibly can for over 3 years, but it all wasn't enough? Or still not good enough? It's like he just being used me. I gave him a regular work to a company for him to have his own money and save for himself and now that he saved and has a job, he cheated on me, he found a lady coworker and now they're living together. I really really HATE MYSELF. I still love him. I know I am not perfect, I made mistake for being controlling and the boss in the relationship but I was his slave, I gave all the CARE and forbmore than 3 years I served him like a king. I gave him what he needed or wanted as long as I can. But why? I've been good to him and his parents and siblings. Why he did that to me? I'm still anxious and depressed and almost break down. So after the lockdown, I started not reaching him out and in no contact. It was a mistake when I reached him and contacted him, it seems that I was desperate enough for him. I beggwd or pleaded but it gets hurt bec he's cruel and leaving so many harsh and degrading words toward me. But I accepted it bec I still love and care for him. He is a straight guy. Well yeah.. I am still devastated and its already been 1.4 years.. Pathetic i know, but i simply cant get rid of her in my mind. The thing is - she went for that puppy love of 2 months, completely discarding the fact that we had that same excitement, closeness and love after 2 years of living together, so she traded me for a few months of excitement, at the point where i was in a pretty bad situation and our relationship did come to some hardships, mostly because of the stress and state i was in at that moment. I guess in the long run we both lost, she wanted to come back, but we both know i could never forgive such action of hers, she betrayed me for her own selfish needs and left me in the dump all broken and with all of my problems and simply walked away, to enjoy herself, too bad that puppy months ended and only then she realized what she lost, i guess both of us will have to live in each other shadow, i doubt i will find a more suitable, attractive and loving partner than she was, maybe someone more worthy, more trustworthy and not that stupid, but for the rest - huge doubts. : )

This situation happened to me. We were together for four years and engaged. Sometimes a guy set up right from the beginning. I am a middle aged guy from Singapore. I studied in the UK in the 90s. There was this guy from Malaysia who was dating this Singaporean girl . Let’s call her R and the guy M. They were both studying in a certain British university. I was acquainted with the girl through mutual friends from Singapore. During the 8 weeks of yearly summer holidays, i would bump into R in Singapore at parties organised by a mutual friend . I noticed M is never with her. This is really odd since he lives 1 hour’s drive away. ( Malaysia and Singapore are right next to each other)R graduated 1 year ahead of M and went back to Singapore to begin work. Within 2 months R dumped M to date a Singaporean guy. R and M were together for 3.5 years . M was due to graduate 1 year later. They were to all appearances a loving couple . I did some snooping. I found out that during the yearly summer holidays, R was basically dating and was keeping M and the other guy in the dark about each other. So basically, R kept M around for 3 years till she could date her first choice ...
