It's a good thing the human eyeball has better resolution than my phone screen/go pro because after breaking through the clouds, I still couldn't see the approach lights or the runway when the 1st Officer made the call out. It was only at "minimums" did I actaully see everything. Great approach and landing.
Most people do not realize how much goes on with the pilots when flying. It is a fairly stressful job. I give a;ll pilots much praise for what they do. We are always in good hands when we fly. Thank you guys!!
keep it coming for us out of work biz jet pilots...I like to listen to the RT and watch the cockpit stuff to keep the ear until someday I'm back in the saddle . My ex boss ran out out of money in May 2022 leaving us high and dry..UK side isn't like the US its being typed and 500 hrs even for a 25 year veteran cheers DD
Always enjoy your videos. Love seeing it from different viewpoints sometimes cause when you are flying things happen so fast so it's nice to be able to watch your approaches from the comfort of my chair! lol Good job
The camera doesn’t pick it up well, but the approach lights were in sight before minimums, which lets you go down to 100’ feet, and a couple of seconds later the runway was in sight, no regulation were breached in this approach
Fifty years ago both Aspen and Nantucket were beautiful places...before the beautiful people and $$$$$ ruined them both. Nice flying though. Last time I flew in to Nantucket it was via a DC-3.
True but usually not an issue, ive flown 1000s of approaches to ACK. Back in the day we would hold at the marker until all the private pilots left. Then ACK tower would "give" the appropriate minimums..
