This years Novawinch Team's Event had us in Reefton for ANZAC weekend. Lando, my V8 Discovery 1 driven by me and Lockie, the Racelux, Matt and Steve's Supercharged V6 Hilux and Shane and Flynn's wee Suzuki Grand Vitara made up team "Lads and Dads!" Enjoy the video!

Unfortunately I don’t have them sorry! Was my first time doing an event like that, but we’ve already got plans for next year to document it all better! Gonna have a media person riding as an extra to keep the video updated etc. and we’ll include each photo!

My guess may be a short somewhere causing the coils to lose voltage

I am always inspired by your videos and tuning my Discovery 1 v8! your channel is the only one that I watch with pleasure))) I admire nature in your videos))) now I put myself a warn 9000i winch, do you think it will withstand the load?

Thanks for the support! And yes, a 9000lb winch should be enough in most situations, just run a decent sized battery or two 👍

Haha these are actually Silverstone comp tyres, similar pattern tho ay haha but way more aggressive lug spacing and soft compound haha. Great axle snappers 😂

It’s curious that you say it’s cutting out on downhills. It wouldn’t be crap in the tank getting into the fuel system would it?

Had similar thoughts but could smell fuel in the exhaust. All sorted now, was a dying coil

Faults could possibly be the coil, I've bought genuine Lucas ones and have been faulty straight out of the box, coil contact point inside the distributor cap or resistance powering the ignition system, it sux as its a process of Ilimination.
