Awesome. The only thing I'd have liked to see different is perhaps the gauges lighting up green to match the HVAC controls or the ability to change the color of the lights. Keep up the good work. Now can we get some replacement cowl metal haha.

The green is whats holding me back. Its more retro than the look. All they need is rgb on any of the clusters and i would buy. just dont want to be locked in.

I was excited to see this product, I purchased a 87 5.0 gt that came with a 85mph gauge cluster. I've got to swap it out for something higher and love the retro look of the display.

Dakota Clusters are nice units, GPS speedo sender is sweet also! Ive used these on my coyote swap fox and coyote swap new edge.

Very cool! I would only suggest a little triangle above (or below) the fuel pump as a reminder that the fill up is on the passenger side. I ABSOLUTELY remember that it is on the passenger side, but it would have been cool to see that little change. One question, I didn't hear mention of the Air bag light, is there one? thanks.

The airbag light is not available on the cluster. So It can't be added on.

If a plug and play harness might be sold in the future I would be more interested. What about airbag light? Can that be added on? I'll be watching for reviews and updates to these.

I wonder if they make clusters for 95 ford f150 cause I’m tired of seeing a max of 85mph I would like to make mine to 120 or 140mph gauge along with a rpm gauge to 8k

Really nice work guys. This is close to what we needed. I personally think it doesn't need the extra like 1/4 mile stuff but o well. Just stock type stuff is really where the fox needs to be.

Curious...only tilt steering columns for 87-89? Would a fixed (non-tilt) column be incompatible?

The only difference between the two clusters is the size of the column hump. Depending on your set-up, you'll be able to run the 90-93 cluster. But almost all 87-89 have a fixed column.

Whej you say speedo is measured manually, do you mean it takes the reading based off the tachometer?

Great question! The are two methods to program the speedometer with our clusters. The first way is by doing it manually. Follow the instructions included with the cluster and drive one measured mile. The second way is to purchase Dakota Digital's plug-n-play GPS unit which operates on a GPS signal to determine the ground speed. This is a monumental upgrade from factory. Its so much more than just looks. All gauges will be more accurate and speed is GPS based so it's always accurate regardless of trans or rear end gearing or tire size. Looks and performance is really good and it's a big upgrade on a fox. It's pricey but there a reason for that. Because it is a huge upgrade. People expect something for nothing nowadays.

@@kbrowske13 if you ignore the modern take, what I am wishing for, unfortunately you’re left with cheap factory looking. That’s my whole point. Indeed fox-body Mustangs had the worst quality interior. The climate control dials and all shout inferior and nothing else. I love Mustangs and hence I am the harshest critic as well.

It looks great to me if only there was one for the 85-86 but the overall production numbers are probably too low for making this for them
