“Everything in the universe is simply made of dreams” Remember in the GENSHIN trailer, dainsleif said that people in kaenriah can’t dream, and the kaenriah chapter is called “the dream yet to be dreamed” I wonder….
The day will come when he gets back his original golden sword and rule teyvat itself and eventually travel yet again to a different world and accidentally landing on honkai star rail and becoming an ultimate attack animation called "I WILL HAVE ORDER"
Some things to bear in mind is that this is not the first time hoyo references lovecraft. the other is that the canonicity of outer gods in honkai gakuen is still debated by honkai fans since the outer gods only appear in side events and are never mentioned in the main story.
Yeah and some people even suggest that GGZ might be happening even in a different Imaginary Tree. Because of how different Honkai behaves, more eldritch. Thought other suggest that it also could be tied to a different Will Of Honkai being assigned to/created for GGZ World
@@XMitrilXPL You actually echoed my thoughts, cos for a while I've been wondering why Honkai in GGZ and impact 3 are so different. One is so violent and wants to wipe out humanity, while the other is just trying to assimilate with humanity and made a few oopsies in doing so
from what I understand these side events are just extensions of the main story and are there to kinda fill in the blanks or expand, I guess. Since for the most part it's about how the cast are going to beat the Honkai and you also have to take into account that GGZ is not global, so a lot of things maybe lost
Was looking for someone to say this before I commented it myself. GGZ is also in its own continuity from HI3rd and HSR unless they eventually make a connection. Whatever Mihoyo plans to do with the Cthullu Mythos in GI is likely going to be vastly different from how it was in GGZ
I think genshin will have similar end as hi3rd. We won't be able to stop the Abyss but instead we will be able to stop the reset button. We kinda have to because we know from Narzissenkreuz Ordo questline this samsara is the last one before everyone and everything in Teyvat dies. 😭maybe Teyvat needs a descender to sustain the world kinda like how Kiana became ruler of finality to sustain the Earth. Third Descender must be someone who died abruptly which is why they had to create gnoses from their corpse as a temporary solution. It's my crack theory that King Irmin is the third descender, if I recall correctly Khaenriah summons the twins after King Irmin dies but we don't have enough information. 😭
The samsaras that NRKZ describes are not time loops. They describe the concept that they noticed in Teyvat, civilizations appear and die for one reason or another, they believe that this civilization is the last because of their entire world formula and the entire plot associated with them, they believed that the world would end, but the Traveler and the Focalors plan prevented the end of the world and their plot ended. The third Descender seems to have personally sacrificed herself by working together with the Primordial One, because the creation of Gnosis describes that PO, along with those who came after him, created Gnosis after the entire war with the second descender. We have no information that Irmin died before the cataclysm, he only had to temporarily leave the throne for health reasons a few years before the cataclysm, Travelers seem to have been summoned long before that. Personally, my crack theory is that the third descender is a Fischl from the book, from the very beginning of the game we know that Fischl had an incredible will capable of rival the world, she came from another world and she was remade into 7 super magical artifacts that someone collected and put together after which she resurrected, also in addition to this theory it explains why Fischl and Fatui have the same theme, because both have the theme belonging to the third descender.
the abysall eye in the sky thing looks so much like the weird green orb in the cave at the back of Mawtiyima forest. Theres a huge cavern and when youve completed the puzzles there is a huge green orb hanging from a tree like thing on the ceiling.
@@inthenameofcontractlendmem983 oh my gosh thank you for that I didn’t know. I always got the impression that nahida (rukkahdevata?)had something to do with one of the dead moon sisters so that’s a tasty looking translation for me. Going to re explore the jungles in sumeru again. And try and find more death and moon connections. A lot of the ruins don’t make sense to me in sumeru
even if it's not literally Elder Gods, the whole idea of a lot of the stuff Genshin draws on is that reality follows patterns from the very top of existence (the fullness of what you might call God) all the way down. so even if something isn't literally Cthulhu, there's a ton of things that work similarly throughout all creation. it also explains why they don't shy away from expy characters, etc.
Always triple and quadruple check videos before making it public. Really useful so there would be no need for a reupload! And it’s not because of my undiagnosed ADHD.
Any similarities between Honkai and Ethereals are mere coincidence. The ZZZ dev team has already gone on record saying they have no plan to tie ZZZ into the Honkaiverse.
Nah, they only say that Belobog in ZZZ has no correlation with Belobog in Star Rail Well, I'm not really sure about Elysia and Mei lookalikes in the trailer, but Sunbringer is definitely kiana's variant
Correction: There is not a single mention of Azathoth dreaming reality in Lovecraft's works and instead that character is Mana-Yood-Sushai which wasn't invented by Lovecraft nor apart of the fictional setting that was made by Lovecraft. People get them confused or outright mistake Azathoth for dreaming the universe because they're both deities and dreaming
Gods of Pegana o.o thanks for the correction! I read that it was where lovecraft got inspirations for his works. maybe I should look more into that too... hmmmm....
If they ever introduce carcosa and/or hastur, waifu or not, better be properly yellow themed! Since hoyo are weebs, a *Haiyore! Nyaruko-san* homage for hastur could be nice too. Also- tin duh loss (tin Dallas? :P). Sorry, had to :P Good stuff though xD
