Just a warning... Ordered the awesome combo set ... Every shipment I received was broken and leaked all over, had it replaced twice and finally just got a refund. Just don't want you to be punished for backing a crappy company for horrible packaging and bad inspectors.

You should try the coconut oil deep conditioning. You put coconut oil on the beard, cover with a shower cap, then put a hot towel on your face for 10 or 15mins. Then just go shower normally. It's unbelievable, and the softness lasts a month. It's my favorite thing to do to soften a beard.

What does a hot towel on your face have anything to do with softening your beard?

@@phillippardo5712 I don't know the science behind it, but I'm guessing that hot towels keep the beard damp and warm to let the coconut oil seep in (warm water opens up the pores)

Your hair has "scales" if you heat it up, they open up. For best results, after you do the hot towel, do an ice cold towel. It makes the scales close with some of the oil in it.

Thank you! Now i can finally straighten my beard after years of struggle. The thing is that where i live in supermarkets there isn't (or i couldn't find it) a dedicated isle to beard products. I guess they are all mixed in with the other hair care cosmetics.

Nice video When I started out, I didn't know anything about this stuff, after 8 or 9 months of growth I would use a ton of conditioner and then when out of the shower id put balm on and then hit it with a ceramic flat iron real fast. After that I hit it with some hair spray. That kept it straight. After another year it's long enough that I only hit it with the flat iron a few times. That was every few days. Now days close to 3 years later I use the oil and balm and that's all I need to keep it straight. My Beard is like just off my chin.

Is there a certain way to towel dry it? I know to leave some of the beard damp a d wet. But when towel drying, do you go in a downwards motion or doe it not matter at all

thanks i will try some of that. i will try to let it grow a little longer and test to see how straight i can get it. right now it is making a bushy like look but using both a bread balm and your bread shampoo it is much thicker and not losing as many hairs as last time i let it grow out. I will need to go back and look at some more videos on how to apply bread balm as i have seen some conflicting ways to apply it.

I have a question how do i trim my beard as it grows? Like i notice most big nice beard seem to have layers or trimmes tword the top i let my grow and it just looks crazy and nappy and i use beard oil and beard wax type shit also comb it and condition it in shower, but it still flips on one side and curls and idk lol i just wish i had a tutorial on how to trim it to where as it grows it come out nicely
