5 BEST META Assault Rifles In Battlefield 2042 Season 6 + Attachments 

I do find that AC42 resonates with me the most, really good accuracy allows to take long range fights, in mid range it's probably the best assault rifle, still packs a punch within point-blank range with that 1 burst headshot kill potential, moreover having 39 round mag on a weapon that doesn't have the auto fire makes those mags feel bottomless. Of course one has to land his shots, but considering overall slower movement and sometimes unhinged spread mechanics in this game that doesn't seem to be that big of an issue after all.

I play the AEK because nostalgia from bf3/bf4+it fits my run and gun playstyle. I hardly lose any fights in close-mid

Now VHX-D3 is my best. I've been killed so many times by this gun, then I started to use it. So easy to control and so powerful in short to medium distance. This gun is build for head shot.

I find the GEW the best for Support class. Its super accurate and and having a solid sidearm means you can play more in the backline. AK-24, SFAR and AEK are usually the most fun to use. Not the best but I find them to be the best at my desired ranges

I started using the M5A3 for close range fights with the close combat mags and short barrel with the T4 thermal and the masterkey. honestly the thing is overkill for close to medium range fights youll absolutley dominate on maps like redacted. I also messed around with the AK with masterkey combo so i could r3ach out to medium reliably with the rifle and cover close range with MK and along with the 40 rnd standard mags you can keep enough handling to keep things running smooth mid fight.

GEW is underrated. Good pick.

Surprising not seeing the RM68 in the top 5. I still have it as the 2nd best overall weapon (VHX #1)

Late to the vid, I know, but I wanted to add that if you set the GEW to single fire with high power ammo, it literally transforms into a DMR.

Hi I am new to Battlefield 2042. Can you suggest me a gun which suits a beginner like me?

What are these facts coming from? Nothing about the AK or G36 changed with the patch, the G36 was always accurate and balanced, the AK was always just a worse version of the SFAR (no point in using it)

Long time player here. Not trying to argue but, I honestly don't think there is a best (assault) gun. They all seem about the same so to me it comes down to player skill, getting those head shots.

All hail King SCAR and long live the king all lion king references aside I agree the SCAR is the best it feels good all ranges and I run the same thing as you for close to mid range but for long range I switch to the effective range ammo, long barrel, and... uh... I think it's called the digital scope it's the one that has 1.5x and 4x zoom it's called an ELCAN when you aren't restricted by copyrights and switch it to semi auto it feels like the best marksman rifle in the game well it did I still haven't unlocked the new one so I don't know how it feels at range yet but unless it has like no recoil like the SCAR I doubt I'll change my mind on that
